Worst I’ve seen him this season, should of stayed on the bench.

Not the end of the world but not great, but I’ll take 3-0 against City and 0-0 against the bitters as opposed to the other way around.

Take the point but we need reserves to be able to carry out the usual plan.

More speedy types up front in the squad. Soalnkie not cut out for us even if he was any good.

Most important thing for me is we’ve come through unscathed, I was genuinely concerned that they would set out to be very aggressive!

      0-0 FT.

Not a surprising result in context. That is all there is to say about that match. A non match.

Looks like no player got hurt so that's a huge positive, especially considering it's the bitters.
Solanke was god awful though. Devoid of any confidence and clue of what to do at the moment. Probably should go on loan next season.

We were in control, if anything unlucky not to win. Not really bothered at all by this what with bigger priorities. Just getting through it with minimum fuss was all I cared about.

Gut wrenching for Everton, with Allardyce thinking he’s a top managerial billy big bollocks yet can’t even muster anything against a weakened Liverpool side who play mid week either side of these games.

Karius, Milner and VVD played well, but Wijnaldum is my MOTM. Absolutely composed and very good on the ball, quiet down last 10-15 mins, but before that, he was like a glue for our team. Perhaps our future #6?  :D

Not the worst result but the lack of quality when we rotate our front three is alarmingly poor. Needs sorting in the summer.

      Will settle for a draw.
They had a lot of pressure there in last 15/20 mins.
Pity, cause full strength we win that handy.
      But we have other priorities.

No new injuries which is good.
      Another clean sheet.
I thought Clyne did OK coming back.

Ings and Solanke though, I'd put them behind Origi who we let go - they just haven't and are not producing when we give them chances - that was a poor Everton side, a striker with something about them should be making their keeper work a lot harder.

Focus switches back to the big one ...

Not really bothered at all by this what with bigger priorities.

My only concern however is, what if we do go through v City.  We going to be seeing weakened teams every week?  Wouldn't be good if a top four place ended up slipping out of our hands because of it.

Imagine serious injuries to Salah/Firmino - dread to think were we would end in the league.  Need to add some serious depth to our attack this summer.

Chronic game. Shows are lack of real strength in depth. As much as I'd love to see Ings & Sol do well here, they look like mid table players at best.

Hendo very poor today, no imagination. Milner my MOTM. Others put in a shift as well but just lacked any spark of imagination in midfield.

Would have lost today with Mignolet.

      Thought that.

Can easily imagine Mignolet not even moving for that Bolasie shot and loads of people giving it the 'there was nothing that he could do about that' treatment.

Honestly, Solanke and Ings are a waste of squad space. Harsh, but my honest opinion. They will never, ever get a run here but I have absolutely no faith in either of them doing the business when required. We need much better back up.
