if the lads watched that tonight they will be delighted Bayern got knocked out and Real are in the final. Never seen a game where once side gifted two legs to the opposition like Bayern did.
Baring some weird event( which usually only happens against UTD) I can see us winning by a couple of goals its set up for us if they press we will punish them if they don't they cant score enough goals/

RM into the final. Bayern thought it was Xmas, giving away pressies. Mignolet might see an opportunity at Munich, wtf was the keeper doing for the RM goal !!!
RM deserve a trophy for timewasting if nothing else.
Personally think Bayern are the better side, but Madrid know how to get the CL job done.

Well, best team definitely didn't go through there. Get through tomorrows game and we'd have nothing to fear. Still, just need a professional performance tomorrow. Roma did Barca but not even Roma would have expected that, Barca must have thought they were through. We know what Roma did and will be ready for it, that said Roma know they have to come out and score three but they'll be cacking it I reckon about us hitting them on the break. We could have easily won 8-2 last week and they'll know it. COME ON LADS

I hate being that confident because it feels wrong (guess I prefer the underdog mindset), but seriously, I have zero fear of Roma. They're a very limited side that played the game of their lives against Barcelona. Not happening again. I can see this being quite boring for the neutral viewer, especially if we score first.

Cant believe how this opportunity has opened up for us imagine having to face City, Barcelona or Bayern in the final its an opportunity we just cant afford to F**k up.

Get through the first 20 minutes unscathed and we will be fine

Madrid can score though and while they aren't great at defending, they are good at cheap fouls which slow the game down. It will be a fight.

Absoltely right with regards to Dzeko, they will try and get the ball into his feet as often as possible and play off him. We really struggled with that during the first 20 minutes last week. I actually think they will be quite measured in their approach and would be surprised if they try to squeeze up so high and offer the same amount of space that they gave our lads in the first leg. Key for us is to screen the early balls into Dzeko and to do a better job on 2nd balls than we did in the opening stages of the first leg. Also, early doors there is no need to feck around with the ball deep in our own half. First 10-15 minutes we should be looking to turn them and then feel our way into the game as the crowd noise and pace subsides a little bit.

Good analysis. But Lovren very often dives in and he did for the Dzeko goal at Anfield. The key for us is to stay calm and under control. If we are going to cut the supply lines we have to press the ball. But my main concern is panic setting in if we go a goal down early on. Lovren in particular has the propensity to dive in and miss time tackles and clearing headers when the pressure is on. He has to stay calm and focused. The first 20 will be over in a flash, could actually be a high scoring game. And the unknown quantity is the Ref...we were the wrong end of a terrible penalty shout. We just can't control the man in black and these guys have decided so many games maybe the time has come for VAR to decide big decisions.

I called it 2-2 after the first leg...could end up 3-2..4-2..

Im sure they beat chelsea 3-0 as well here. They do have some form at home this season not conceding a goal etc.

Even after we let 2 in at Anfield, we would have to bottle it again to go out here. Not many teams have beat us by 3 clear goals, I can only think of City.

Funny old game football though, but if we keep disciplined and no red cards I think we're half way there.

I really want us to win for obvious reasons but all season I have wanted to play either Real Madrid, Munich or Barca just to see how we went. If we can get there with our usual front 3 and 3 capable midfielders, Van Dijk, Robertson and TAA i've always felt we could shock the world and blow them away.

Strangely calm atm but i f***in won't be laters that's a given,
We are 3 goals to the good, there is no way that Roma will keep a clean sheet while trying to score 4 past us, not a f***in chance,
So this plays straight into our hands, my mantra would be to score as quickly as possible, and make that mountain even bigger,

90+ minutes away from a European cup final & cant wait for kick off ,we are in the driving seat & it will be interesting to see if Jürgen goes for the throat and tries to put the game well out of reach of Roma in the first half.
They will have to throw the kitchen sink at us & they probably will like city did in the return leg  of the quarters,we soak it up at hit them on the break.
we took these apart at anfield & I hope it's a similar performance tonight & it is the reds who score the important first goal as I believe that will really knock the stuffing out of them.
