      Buvac stepping down?
      Apr 30, 2018 07:45:40 am
Bust up between JĆ¼rgen Klopp and Zeljko Buvac

The Scottish Daily Record claim to have the inside scoop on what went wrong for Zeljko Buvac at Anfield.

Itā€™s been reported that after working alongside JĆ¼rgen Klopp for almost two decades, Zeljko Buvac has suffered a major falling out with the German manager. Readers are told:

It is understood that the two coaches had ceased talking to each other during games and that Buvac had been excluded from tactical meetings. ā€œKlopp and Buvac had a big falling out,ā€ a Liverpool source told Record Sport . ā€œAnd Buvac has been left completely out of the loop of late.

ā€œThey stand apart in training, Buvac doesnā€™t go to tactical meetings, and he is no longer involved in picking the team. In the past, he was the only one who had Kloppā€™s ear. The relationship had broken down, and the players have been told Buvac is gone.ā€ https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-no2-zeljko-buvac-quits-12452457

Gee, that's terrible to hear as they've been the dynamic duo for so long and the timing could not have been worse.

The only positive is itā€™s been happening for a while and weā€™ve not really noticed a huge change in form.

Hope they get a replacement in soon... could it be too tempting to ask Stevie?

I'm taking it as gospel Buvac has gone, no statement from club to put these rumours to bed...

Timing is sh*te as we enter the most important playing period for the club in a decade..

Pearce et al are usually quick to deny these sort of rumours usually if untrue.

To be honest with you the whole thing is uncannily similar to the Rafa/Ayesteran episode, which was true. Seems too similar.

I had this exact thought when I read the news. Rafa and Pako parting ways didn't do anyone any good.

Yea mate Roma is our most important game in a decade we the fans have suffered a lot in that period we deserved for this to be executed with a bit more dignity.

If this is true then its a terrible piece of management. I assume that someone actually manages the club's off field affairs and to let this occur now is inexcusable.
Unless of course Stevie is about to be promoted??????

Find it odd that its a break at this stage of the season.

Whatever fight they are having, they should both realise that they are on the cusp of winning the biggest prize there is and after working for each other all these years its a shame to end so close!

Klopp certainly seems highly combustible and emotional, so this makes sense. Hopefully they can patch it up, but if not then perhaps its time for Stevie to step up.

Either way I'm not too worried and its not really the same as Rafa and Pako as in that case it was Pako who was the people person whereas now its JĆ¼rgen who is the people person, ie the one who is close to the players getting them fired up etc, that is the more important person at this point of the season as they all know the tactics inside out by now.

Graeme Kelly on Twitter (usually quite reliable) saying there's absolutely no chance he comes back. Not surprising as there's no way he'd walk out at this stage of the season unless things had got really toxic.

One row too many then and his right hand man has said 'enough is enough'
Timing is sh*te though & hope both are  professional enough to put there differences aside for the good of the team and for the most important matches of our season & im sure they will.

Maybe Buvac told Klopp not to take Salah off at 5-0 up against Rome and this is the fall out.

He appears like an equally passionate person as Klopp when at the match. Maybe this is a result of a long term issue that's come to a head recently.

Timing is awful though. Any show of error or lack of concentration on Wednesday will be pinned on this.
