Don't think GK is one of our main targets and if a GK comes would be as a replacement of Mignolet, probably a young one.

Apparently, our friend, Fekir is more a 10/false 9? So do we really need a striker? I'd be more than happy to go into n ext season with Solanke and Fekir if Firmino doesn't play.

I agree to a point. We need to build more QUALITY depth for our front 3. You can’t have Lallana, Ings, and Dom as your replacements for the front 3 in big games. However, a true Coutinho replacement can move upfront in a pinch, so can Ox. I would love to get a real striker, but I like Bob as much as any striker in the PL in our system. Building an attack from the back forward is what we need. We need a good DM to take pressure off the back 4 and than have better link up play from the other two midfielders (the way Ox was starting to flourish into before the injury). Kieta and a Couthino clone can hopefully bolster of link up play.

As far as CB’s go I would love to improve VVDs playing partner, but the way Lovern grew with VVD makes me think they trust him enough to just build depth instead of a replacement. As far as LB goes we just need someone to be serviceable in smaller cup games and the occasional PL when Moreno leaves and Robbo needs a rest.

Apparently it's the only 2 mistakes Karius has ever made for us and he'll come back stronger, plus he's only 24. The blind faith of some supporters is simply astounding.

Really like what I have seen so far , his off the ball movement is so good, but he is also a very good footballer, I can see how he can play a false 9 too.

The player to replace Firmino we badly need by the sounds of it.

Any chance this guy plays in a similar role to Firmino?

Lyon have said Fekir will not move until after the world cup. Very smart move by them because he's obviously one of Frances stars and if he has a good tournament then the price will sky rocket.

Looking at him he's all left foot and can come from deep looks a bit like Salah, Ox and Firmino. He is obviously attacking and gives us another option in that department.

The only way I see this happening is Lemar is signed as Coutinho's replacement and Fekir would be a front-3 option, given that the latter can also play as a False 9
And of course, both are very versatile as well.

But I wanna say and hope this happens - For the potential outlay on Lemar, FSG would probably prefer Pulisic considering the other 'benefits' that he would bring in!

Pulisic has a higher ceiling than Lemar in my opinion, any of them would be a fantastic signing for us.

Or another better option that what we have in reserve whenever we want to rotate the front three.

Would be immense if we sign those 2 in addition to Fabinho!  After that, a GK and a CB would round us out quite nicely.
