Seen a couple of full matches, looks very good. Think of Ox but with slightly less agility and workrate, but with more creativity and flair.

I think PM is just talking stylistically rather than talking about Chamberlians current injury issues 🤷‍♂️

      Fekir Update

Nabil Fekir will not be sold before or during the World Cup, Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has claimed this afternoon.

Speaking to the club website, Aulas said: “The record is at a standstill, there is no way forward. The [deal] will certainly not close during the World Cup and I do not think there is any change before the World Cup. [We have not] set a base price because we have not discussed this yet.”

I get the feeling this will drag and drag just because this greedy c**t of a chairman wants to ear a few more Scheckel's. I certainly hope for his sake that Nabil does not get an injury in the first minute of the first game!

Their obviously waiting on him having a storming World Cup to try and increase his value and generate some sort of bidding war.

I can sense another Van Dijk scenario as by a few accounts the player only seems to want to go to us.

Think the umtiti deal has ensured that (25 million euros) aulas will be even more determined to get a big price

Even if he has a good world cup, his value won't increase more than 10m. A shoddy world cup and it could drop 10m.
It's no secret players that do well internationally might not do well at a club and vise versa.
Even after the world cup his price will mainly come from his last few seasons at Lyon.
He did exceptionally well in the last season as well, I suspect a fee in the region of 60m would be reasonable.
      Depending on world cup 50-70m.

How much more money does he think think he can get by trying to get an auction going for him after the World Cup? Chances are he’s not going to be a starter for France from what I’ve read and unless he scores the winner in the final, his value really isn’t going to go up much at all. There is more danger of his value going down.

Seems like Aulas is trying to be awkward just for the sake of it to carry on the appearance of being a tough negotiator. When if anything, he’s just causing the player distraction which will likely impact his performance and again potentially hamper any chance of his value going up.

I agree Rip that his value won't increase that much, but it's obviously what Lyon are banking on.
