Joyce now saying what Pearce said, think this deal is now dead.

One journo echoing another, shock horror. None of them have any more clue than us, difference is they have to sell stories to make a living.

Personally I think we pulled out of the deal because they didn't think he would survive one of JĆ¼rgen's hugs.

Enough of the more serious journos have weighed in now for me to again conclude that this is dead.

I do notice the Ajax manager says Ziyech has already agreed a deal with someone. Hmmmm.....

I like the look of Ziyech he's faster than Fekir too.

Rumoured to have an agreement with Roma.

Monchi is dealing well for them this summer. Pastore, Coric, Ziyech, Cristante, Kluivert are some astute signings.

Which basically means Alisson is off for big money.

Nabils brother has just signed a new contract it's rumoured that he would be going wherever Nabil would be going. Possible he may sign a new contract and be staying put.

If the above is correct could be that the knee issue is real and his chances of moving on to a big club may have come and gone.

I donā€™t think heā€™s good enough from what Iā€™ve seen mate.

Talented kid and a nice change of pace but flatters to deceive and (for me) not a leader in the way Fekir is for Lyon.

I agree. Fekir is the better player atm. Havet been playing or playing well in WC but at Lyon, he is a treat to watch.

Mark my words. Fekir will go to a better club then Lyon. if not now, then maybe in a year or two. He is too good to be at Lyon for the rest of his playing days. Some club will take the risk.

No he hasnā€™t looked at all sharp or confident.

Couldnā€™t really be more different from his Lyon form.

Do you think he's  unsettled over how the deal with us broke down?

I bet he is man. That has to be a huge blow to him, doing the interview and the media and then everything falling through. That would certainly affect you I would think.

Of course he is. As far as he was concerned he was moving to a new team, new league and moving his family to another country, then for it all to break down, of course it will take unstelle him, would unsettle most people. Especially when youā€™ve gone through the interviews, pics etc.

You listen to his reps...they seem pretty chill about it all; so chilled you'd think they know something we don't....sooner rather than latter I suppose we will find out.

Hard to say Rob - defo out of sorts though and trying things in wrong areas and losing ball etc.

Looks leggy to be honest which could be an injury or could just be that heā€™s mentally elsewhere.

Maybe he finds international footie dull too ;)

That's a good point, if it really did fully break down he would be more pissed at either Lyon or Liverpool, something would have leaked out.

Ha I had to think what this was about, was smashed last night and literally all I can remember of doing the post is that I was really struggling to spell ā€œunsettleā€...clearly it didnā€™t go well
