Best pub to watch the game in

Heading into town tomorrow to watch the game. Recommendations for best pub to watch it in? I'm guessing one of the pubs round Anfield, but anyone got any local tips?

Everywhere in town is going to be packed. Some places have sold tickets and sold out - like Camp and Furnace and Baltic Market.

It's the luck of the draw really if you're going to an alehouse.

Most of the pubs have been selling tickets such has been the demand from fans outside of Liverpool wanting to be in Liverpool.

You may have left it late if you want to get into a bar in the City Centre.

I do know that The Sandon and also The Flat Iron are showing it and not charging to get in but it's a case of getting in first come first served for a table and seat. Think they're both laying on plenty of scran too as well by the sounds of things.

The thing is, with 30,000 odd going to the ground a few of them will no doubt be drinking in them before they go into the ground as the ale will be cheaper in the pubs than it will inside Anfield.

Good f***in luck with that mate, i would imagine most of Merseyside will be showing it apart from that shitty wee club that dwells across good old Stanley,

2 weeks ago i looked at b&b's to lay my pissed up head but everywhere was Chocca, was looking to come up and soak up the game & of course the celebrations....next year I'm booking as soon as the knock out's begin...
