You just can't legislate for keeper errors like those.

Add a worldy in to the mix and you don't win finals against sides like Real.

they did  mate Ronaldo never got a kick but when a goalie goes rogue lie that words fail me

I know...but just think...when we first started the season the back line was a MAJOR concern...we gave them 2 of 3 goals and the other was a wonder goal...i know it sucks...but damn we have come a long way...

Is it just me or does anyone else think karius could have saved bales overhead? He seemed to pull his hands away from the ball. Surely we sign a new keeper now after that horror show

      Complete write-off. Waste of time.

Losing Salah was everything - and Ramos laughed as he walked off.

Then we have the most incredible bad luck with Karius giving goals when Real want them.

You couldn't make this up!! Nothing to do with Real. They were nothing. We gave them everything.

And the officials too, giving everything their way, and awarding their dives with free kicks. Absolute joke.

Tonight show us why we need another top class striker... Lallana just brings energy, and a little trickery to the team, and no end product

To everyone blaming Karius. If your manager asks you to do something, you would do it even if your not good at it. Klopp has a track record of losing finals, he probably doesn't put enough depth in his teams. We got an empty bench pretty much. He's had long enough to get a good keeper, sometimes you have to look further than the bargain bin.

F**k off letch. Klopp got us to the final before you start on your righteous rants.

I'm not at all proud, we finished fourh and won f**k all. Lost an embarrassing final.

I believe we finished fourth because we put all our eggs in the CL basket, had we went out the CL in quarter finals we would have closed the league in a better form.

We were an injury away for a total collapse and we had that injury today, Salah’s injury changed the game completely. I’m proud because I never ever expected this squad to reach the final, and even though it hurts I’d rather have the chance to play the final that lose on the semis of QF.

I’m not going to kid myself, this team needs investment still, we need depth.

When you gifteed the opposition 2 silly goals in such an important game, you have no place in this squad. Goodbye Karius. Will be known as the keeper that lost us the all important final.

Even if Mo was on the pitch we'd have struggled, it's practically impossible to beat a time like Madrid when your keeper gifts them two. Such a shame because the defence in front of him actually did brilliantly, protected him so well and some of the challenges Lovren and Robertson made were out of this world.

Wasn't meant to be tonight but we'll come again.

Karius is just inconsolable, I cannot castigate him, he did not do it on purpose but he knows more than anyone, that he cost us 2 goals. He needs big arms around him from his teammates, this could completely ruin, him nobody deserves that!

I just want to point out what a great job our back line did...Ronaldo was almost non existent...SHout out to Trent, Robbo, Virgil and Lovren...they kept one of the best players in the world in check.

This, but Karius blunders, and the invisible Hendo, and the dirty b***ard Ramos, with the refs aproval all contributed to our loss tonight.
      It can only get better.

You are a joke. To pick Lallana out for abuse after what just happened. I’m thinking you didn’t even watch the game. Don’t bother responding, blocking you as I can’t deal with your garbage posts anymore.

Please don’t anyone else quote his posts, I don’t want to read them anymore.

Karius could have cost us against City but it was disallowed. He could have cost us against Roma but his fluffed save went to the post. He's now cost us in the most embarrassing manner in the final. And yet there were those saying he's been superb, that Buffon would be at most his backup, and so on. Seriously guys. Wake the F**k up. We had the one of the easiest CL runs ever apart from City. This squad is thin and the starting XI isn't even that great. Our manager can't win a F***ing cup. Reality shock.

      True.

Most of us know this and it came home to roost tonight.

We literally had nothing on the bench.

I agree mate what's done is done and Karius may never recover mentally from that game.

But the fact is he never was never has or never will be good enough for a team looking to win a major trophy.

And Klopp should have known that.

I cant believe I took us 13 year to get to a final and then we go and commit footballing suicide I don't know if I am angry beyond belief or just so sad for Jürgen but he needs to be harder on his players if he wants to become a legend.
If it cost us £200 million go foe Neuer. I am just stunned by what I have witnessed
