We're now scored the same number of league goals as last season, with 2 games left to play.

We've also conceded 18 fewer goals, 38 last season, 20 this season with 2 to play.

Klopp is doing remarkable things here.

I love him, I will never say he is faultless because no one is. He made us a title winning squad even if do not do it. I'm still believing!

Me too mate, and if anyone can do it, Klopp can.

Guardiola is a glory hunter, going to the big clubs who have big money, he doesn't stick around long enough to develop players across the age groups.

Klopp is a builder and nurturer.
I know which one I'd rather have.

Think we should just offer him a lifetime contract.

Technically, you're right but 33 of last 35 season we would have won it so Klopp right did create a winning squad.

Don't want anybody to blame Klopp for today. Barcelona are an excellent team. I know he's going to get some flak for starting Gini in an advanced role and not even making the important change until 2-0 in the 80th minute, but the third went in even with Firmino on the field so it's not Klopp's fault, before anybody starts.

Unlucky overall but Gomez RB having not started a game in how long??? Too long to make a sub as normal. Gini as a false nine having I don’t think ever played that position for us? Not the gaffers night tonight

Still could even come this season for all we know.

Looking more unlikely than ever but you never know.

It's been an amazing season and the PL is still there to be won if City slip up.

The game plan was working until the Keita injury but we needed to make a change at half time or just after IMO as Gini wasn't a threat going forward unfortunately and the link up play wasn't clicking as it usually did, had Firmino come on at 1-0 could have been a different story tonight.

But with that said Klopp can't do much about the best football player this world has ever seen doing what he does best.

Gini move was odd for me and for so long Bobby Sub to late thought they were petrified of us at times

I'd have had Trent as RB, Gomez as CB, Firmino up top. I'm just an armchair pundit though, I'm sure Klopp had a plan.. he just could not pull it off.

The issue isn't the plan he had, because it was working a treat with Keita on the pitch unfortunately with him off it, not so much. The issue was going for the goal by bringing Bobby on and being brave enough to do it while it was still 1-0.

I agree. We played well, probably better than Barca, we just didn't take our chances and Barca got lucky on 1 goal and then that world class free kick.
