Alisson Becker Player Thread (GK)

What a solid performance against a team that is set up to panic defenses and harass a keeper on set pieces.

The thing that really stood out is the calmness he has when on the ball, i swear there are midfielders who could learn a lot from his. He oozes confidence and dosent get flustered even when being pressed.

He will make mistakes, but he could go on to be an absolute great at the club (although, its still only 2 real games for him!)...

The scary thing is he will just get better and better as he builds more understanding with his teammates, we have a real gem here, him and VVD were bloody expensive but worth every penny.

Great distribution, a couple of regulation saves, calm and composed.

So glad the Karius is gone. Couldn't stand his celebrity-like-behaviour while playing like poo-poo. Alisson looks much better right off the bat.

After years of mediocrity in this area, we finally have proper GK now. So refreshing to see calmness at the back.

The free kick save, look at VVD, wtf? Was he really that confident Alisson would save it?

Am I right I’m saying it’s too late to change his kit number now that the season has started? I’m sure he would want the number 1 now Karius has left.

Every goalkeeper makes mistakes but he is already building up plenty of credit in his account, so a couple of negative moments will not really matter whereas keepers like Karius and Mignolet were constantly overdrawn!
