Certainly not when you get a player sent off at 20 mins. City players did a Man U and pressured the ref, I’ve seen far worse than that not given. It was a yellow, no doubt, but a straight red, no!

If that was a red then so was Kompanys on Salah.
      Game over though unfortunately.
Citeh do look bloody good again, so we need to keep winning our games and hope they pick up some injuries ;-)

Not sure why that tackle is viewed as a clear cut red? It’s a yellow for me

Oscar winning performance by bernardo silva. Four city players marching after the red but apparently the refs favour us. Standard of refereeing is getting worse

Have to say (with modern day interpretation on tackling) it was a red

Does seem to me that Citeh get the benefit of refereeing decisions at the moment, perhaps some gift bags from the Arab owners.

Perhaps but Why wasn't kompany or pogba yesterday a red then?

Not saying a agree with the modern day interpretation like

Just that as soon as he went in as he did with the ref having such a clear view it's very unlikely he stays on the pitch

In the current climate the chance of sterling getting the same level of criticism as mo is absolutely zero. Look at vardy's dive at the weekend too

Sad and surprised to see Wagner leave his job as Huddersfield boss. Turned a club fit for League 1 into a Premier League outfit in such a short space of time. A remarkable job he has done there. For sure they lack the quality to compete this season and it looks doubtful as to whether they'll remain here but I had no doubt that he could launch another shot for a place in the top league.

A fine manager and one who won't be short of some quality job offers. Sad for Huddersfield as well - they've been a joy to have in the top league and there place in it was entirely fitting given their historical stature and some of the grand names that have passed through that town.

Very sad and a move by the club which will send them backwards even more. I became a armchair fan of the club when he took over. Presuming they go down which looks very likely they certainly won't be coming back up anytime soon. Wouldn't surprise me if they brought him back when the next manager struggles even more.

      1. Why would He? He's a manager not an assistant

      2. Klopp has his backroom staff in place

      Would have thought it obvious.

      1. There's no restriction. Some Manager's have had both roles, and he's not in my eyes a big enough Manager to not consider dropping to Assistant at a top club.

      2. The close relationship would make him ideal. He's demonstrated his ability, and he shares the same ideals as Klopp. Would work well together. He obviously wasn't available back then, but Klopp could always fit him in anyway

      1. I bet you struggle to name enough manager's drop back to a #2 to fill one hand

      2. Again Klopp has his backroom positions filled.
He wouldn't sack one to bring in his mate

       :lmao:

Right, so again.. there is a requirement? I have to name enough manager's so that you can understand the point?

Wagner is a different case entirely due to him being Klopp's best friend.

Point being is you can't because it very very very rarely happens and I very very very much doubt Wagner has any other ambitions than managing again

Wagner is a different case cause he's Klopps mate? Have you heard yourself?
There isn't a position to fill, best mate or not

But if you think real footy is like footy manager or FIFA sound lad 👍

Now Wolves concede an own goal.

Can this get any easier for City?
