Three points. Clean sheet. 2-0 win. What more can you ask for?! F***ing delighted with that. Detest these type of away matches but love them more than most when the result goes your way. F**kin quality!

It's wins like that one that get me more excited for this season, not your 4-0s against an open West Ham.

In years gone by we would have caved and probably lost that one. Front three were poor (even though one got a goal and another set up two!) but we dug it and got it done.

Gomez my MOTM, Van Dijk a very close second.

Would have rather Shaqiri came on instead of Lallana.
Not a big fan of the subs but 2 goals and another clean sheet.

      Edit:

It's the spine of your team that dig out tough games.
Even though the front 3 misfired and the midfield stuttered,

Quality central defensive display by Gomez and VVD. With Alisson behind him just calm and cool there's no way in hell we would have not conceded this time last year with Mignolet flapping about like some mad c**t. No one will talk about Alisson but I thought he was dynamite.

our front three will not play as badly as that again and yet we still scored 2 and conceded none. Jürgen will be delighted

Second half was a little bit patchy.  Having said that, Mo Salah should have scored about four.  An off night for him.

Mane started the season very well, Alisson dealt with everything at him but I think Keita is an absolute beast.

      Excellent finish Sadio :)
      Win, clean sheet, 3 points.
Delighted, tricky away game, *relatively* comfortable.
Went for VVD MOTH. Benteke in his pocket, absolute rock at the back.
Impressed by Alisson too, like VVD makes things look easy, good with ball at feet, some very nice distribution.
Bit disappointed not to see Shaq, thought Hendo did OK.
All in all, think Jürgen will be pretty happy.
Roll onto the next one... :)

Same here. Didn't think Lallana could offer much to be honest. I can only guess Klopp put him on because he'd run more. Gave away a silly free kick late on as well. He's got a lot to do to force his way into the side. More than any of our other midfielders.

Not sure if we played well or not? First half was very controlling but lethagic, yet we created chances and we should have scored at least 1 goal, 2nd half was a bit iffy and felt it was more a rugged half.

Gomez my MOTM, but Alisson and VVD equally as good.

Not concerned about Salah missing a few, as long as he is still looking for the ball...and he had his arm up looking for a cross as he had a great header just touched over...full of running as well...so missed a few but still played well..

Manu and CP have same goal difference and equal points. How come Manu is 9th and CP 10th at sky table? Just wondering.

Such a relief to get those 3 points today. A really tough game, and we didn't have the quality when we needed it.

That said, what a great goal from Mane. Showed Salah how to do it there. Composed despite the challenges coming his way. Perhaps this will be his year? Salah looks like he's struggling with the pressure. He's the new Suarez. The opposing fans boo him and hassle him, and the expectations are high.

Bit disappointed with Klopp's tactical changes today though. His weakness in his Firmino-love-in is still evident and it could have been our undoing. The Sturridge change should have been done ages ago, and if Crystal Palace had grabbed an equaliser, it could have been too late.

This was a tough game - but we have the points!

      MotM VvD.

      And Gomez. And Wijnaldum.

      And Sane.

      Alisson wasn't too shabby either.

Why is Klopp over working Firmino? He could have changed him 15 minutes ago at last.

The reason why we were after Fekir. Studge or Solanke dont have that work rate and the trickery to keep their midfield occupied. Fekir was seen as someone who would have taken turns with Bobby for this role and versatile enough to play other attacking positions. (Ok, no more Fekir talk)

We will see Firmino playing the proper false 9 this season, trying to keep the opponent's last midfielder busy, and Mo & Mane as the more advanced players.
