      Pre-Match: Liverpool V Brighton (25/08/18 - 17:30)
      Aug 21, 2018 03:52:16 pm

Feel this could be a good game to reintegrate Hendo back into the team with that being the only change. Possibly not necessary but feel Klopp might rotate very slightly and this shouldn't affect the team whatsover.

They won't live with us if we bring what we brought on the opening day. COME ON REDS!!!  :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6: :kop5cf8koxp6:

Cant see anything other than a win here and a comfortable one too. Can see an unchanged team again. No reason to think otherwise.

                                  Alisson

         TAA        Gomez        VVD          Robbo

                         Milner           Gini

                                    Keita

             Mo                  Bobby               Mane

5-0 with the front three all scoring  8) . Top of the league by Saturday night.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a little rotation with possibly Sturridge getting some more playing time as well as Shaq and Hendo.

I think it would be a good time to play Fabinho, but how can you drop any of our midfielders? Argh!!

We rotated more than any other side in the league last season...it's not difficult.

Don’t mend it if it isn’t broken !

Perhaps get the subs on a bit earlier if we are well ahead, but why unsettle the lads that are doing it. I know we weren’t at our best on Monday, but more minutes together could fix that. If not, perhaps a couple of changes around the 60 min Mark.
These lot just dismantled Utd. A piss poor Utd admittedly, but they will be buzzing and giving it 100 %.
Be silly to underestimate anyone !
Still going for 3:0 though 😁

I back PGlynn's team. I would only change Milner to Henderson on the basis of keeping him fit. I would not be sad if James is kept in the team.

The only player that is playing below certain level is Firmino but he needs game time to be back to his best.

Yes, after the international break, we'll have seven matches with no more than 3 days in between, then after another internatinoal break, eight matches with the same kind of frequency. Then after the CL group stage ends in December, we have the domestic festive season, possibly including some later-round League Cup matches.

But for now there's no need for rotation, unless it's for form or tactics.

Please, please, please do not change the team Jürgen.

Same line up. But if we have the game in the bag then make the changes much earlier and give sturridge, shaq and Fabinho some minutes.

I agree we need to give the lads on the bench a chance to take Brighton to the cleaners when we are 3 or 4 goals to the good.I  expect Mo Salah to run riot and put the shits up the Brighton defence.

I think you could possibly give Milner a bit of a rest, I'd possibly play Fabinho if he is up to speed or Henderson. Other than that same team but perhaps bring on a few of the others if things are going well and we are a few goals up, I definitely want to see more of Shaq and Sturridge.

Home game so I expect to see Fabhino at some point, would also give Shaq and Sturridge the nod up front, we have more than enough for Brighton time to show faith in the squad before the break.

Yeah, pretty much a like for like. I still want to see Wijnaldum as our 6. Also very curious to see If Hendo can play to a higher standard than Milner as the 8.

As soon as Henderson is fully fit, after mostly missing pre-season, he'll be a starter.

My guess is that Milner will make way, with Gini playing further up, and Henderson as the deepest.

When Henderson starts the press, and charges upfield, Gini will drop in to cover him.

Why on earth would you play Henderson instead of Milner or Fabinho, what does he give to the team that the others can't? The ONLY role I can see for Henderson is as a #6 DM, he lacks any creativity going forwards, certainly much much less than Keita, Wijnaldum, Shaquiri, Lallana etc

I agree, he wouldn't be the most creative #8, but you can't deny how dangerous he is when he whips in those balls from the right side of midfield into the box. And as an 8, he will also have more freedom to press/harry whilst utilising his fitness to full effect in box-boxing. It really would be interesting to see if he is still capable of playing that role to a high level once again.

But as much as I want to see him in the 8 role, I think Klopp still favours him as our main 6.

If Fabinho shows he is better as the deepest midfielder, then Henderson will probably move up.

Sorry but a #8 also has to offer a threat on goal and sadly Henderson never has and never will, he has many qualities but being able to get a shot on target is not one of them.

Would you play Henderson instead of Keita, if so why, what does he offer better than Keita, same question in terms of Milner and Lallana?

Perhaps I'm missing some part of Henderson's game which makes him a dynamic midfielder. As stated he is ok as #6 although I think Fabinho will offer much more in that position.
