Jürgen was getting pissed off with not making the best of great chances so I expect him to convey that in his interview. Not bad 5 out 5 and still not yet firing well.

A good win. Could have been a great win if our strikers weren't so selfish. They need to strike as a unit, not with this glory-hunter mentality. If someone else is better placed, pass the ball. Only Firmino is guilt free.

      MOTM is difficult today.

It’s coming together slowly, and when we hit top gear. Look out!

Scary to think we haven't been at our best yet.

It has to be Milner for the MOTM. Closing down the space, puttinng in the tackles. Naby Keita has to learn fast. Intensive shooting practice right after this for Mane and Salah. Nevertheless, a very good result.

Delighted with the win, but how did we make it so hard on ourselves at the end?

The debate is that they should have had a penalty. Close call.

But it's crazy that we put ourselves in that position. We were pretty rubbish up front. Salah was awful. Even when Sturridge came on, Salah and Mane insisted on trying to take every chance, and Sturridge hardly touched the ball at all. Klopp was fuming with all the chances they wasted.

That Mane challenge at the end was a penalty. Makes it even sweeter after their antics at Anfield last time. Karma is a F***ing bi*ch.  :lmao: :lmao:

Mane could have played Salah through but went for Keita instead. Looked like they were both trying to do it all themselves today, poor from both of them. Their shooting was off and Mo looks like he’s starting to put pressure on himself. But I have a feeling he’s going to smash a hat trick and get back to his scoring ways very soon.

Hope Klopp changes things a bit upfront by switching Salah from right to left to centre.

Sense that too. Salah is 100% off the boil, but it is the pressure from being so fantastic. Defenders are looking for him, when he gets the ball, we're all demanding a goal. The expectations are high! Perhaps he's even a bit wary of another injury like he had.

When he settles down, he'll be great again though.

At this stage I’m not worried because it shows we aren’t reliant on 1 man to get the wins, he also started in a similar way last season and I think around mid way or 3/4 of the way through last season he hit a similar spell. Form is temporary and he will smash it again soon.
