I agree Henderson should start but surely you can’t drop Milner? He’s in top top form.

It's not really about dropping a player these days.
      Just rest and rotation.
Might not even be Milner who is rested/rotated, but I'd guess that 1 of the lads who played on Saturday won't start tomorrow.
Maybe Keita will be on the bench, and Milner starts.
We'll know tomorrow anyway, but Klopp will put out the side he thinks is best capable of getting a result, based on training, fitness levels etc.

Again it's a guess, but I don't see Henderson getting the full 90 yet, so a good strong bench is a must.

I'd like to see Fabinho getting some game time soon, but again, Klopp knows better than me how ready he is.
      Maybe on the bench tomorrow.

I really want to see why a few posters rate him so much, as I only saw 1 pre-season game.

Anyhow, options, it's all about options and the better they are, the better we'll do.

      Hmmm, I didn't know they signed, Choupo-Moting , wtf? :D

Also, just saw the PSG squad, thought Rabiot was suspended, but seems like he will be playing against his dream club tomorrow.

If Henderson starts, I would expect Gini on the bench and Milner on the  park. Gini doesn't do so well on a short rest, even though he is younger than Milner. Milner is a freak when it comes to fitness.

But I'm not convinced about Henderson starting this match. We'll see.

      Just win boys.

F***ing buzzing for this, can’t wait to hear the champions league music.

Yes the next six games are tough but 4 of them are at home and our record at Anfield in recent times is superb (I can’t remember the last time we lost at home?!)

How good is it when you wake up in the morning and realise Liverpool are playing tonight its such a thrill . With PSG not knowing how to defend it promises to be an epic night full of colour and noise because nobody does CL nights like Anfield.
If Bobby is anywhere near ok after nearly losing an eye to that Spurs c**t he will play because there is only one Bobby.

No I mean why do you think they'll win the CL this year when up to now they have been fairly crap in that tournament?

Huge game this, one I'm really excited for.

I've no idea what the starting 11 will be. Im usually a firm believer of never changing a winning team, especially after a great performance at Tottenham, but I'm worried we may burn out too quickly and equally as worried that our substitutes may get a little rusty. For that reason, I'll make a couple of changes tonight.

The back five remain the same for me.

The midfield three is difficult to choose though. The three who played at Tottenham have all started the season very well so it's difficult to leave anyone out.  He's been my player of the season so far but I'm going to take Gini out for this one and I'm going to throw Fabinho in there. Yes I'm throwing him in the deep end but European football is different and he's got experience playing against PSG. He gets to experience the atmosphere too and what it's like to play for this club.

I'd take firmino out who probably can't play anyway but instead of starting Sturridge, I'm going to bring shaqiri in and play salah as the 9.

      So my team is:

      Alisson

      Trent VVD Gomez Robertson

      Fabinho

      Keita Milner

      Shaqiri salah mane

Going for a 2-1 win. Come on reds.

I would imagine PSG will line up as a 4231 meaning Robertson will have his hands full up against Mbappe.
Trent should be able to handle Di Maria on the other side.

We need to make sure we gain control of the midfield as I doubt they will get much support from both Neymar and Di Maria dropping back.

Bernat at LB is a weak link so either Shaq or Salah should have a field out there.

      I felt like a man with the nerves of steel this morning. Never usually this confident walking in to a fixture, especially of this magnitude - it's clear to me;

We are Liverpool, I used to wake up a doubter but now I'm a believer. I fully expect a victory tonight. Why?

      I predicted 2-2.
Upto now we have done a bit better than most my predictions.
I predicted 2-2 against Spurs and we won 2-1.
I predicted 3-0 against west ham, we won 4-0.
Based on my 2-2 prediction we will probably win 3-2.

Yeah I know what you meant I was being funny... I think they have built a team now to challenge for everything so have every chance, they put even city's spending in the shade.

I agree about their spending but who did they buy in the summer to dramatically improve them, as judging them on previous CL campaigns they always flatter to deceive.

So why not be optimistic and say 3-2?

I've gone for 4-2 to us I think as I think this might be the game it finally clicks into place but with the striking power PSG have it will be miracle to keep a clean sheet.

I am being a bit cautious because Klopp has hinted Hendo will return to the midfield. For some reason, Milner suffers a lot when Henderson plays. The likely option is to drop Milner and pair Henderson with Gini, which seems strange as they have both been playing as a #6 this season. I could have a narrow view on this but if the rumours are right and Hendo is starting, unless our front 3 hit form better than in the league so far I would estimate there is 2 goals against PSG for us. PSG are no walkovers and I can estimate we will spend around 35% in our own half. If Klopp wants to play Henderson I would think it is because he thinks there is a threat between our midfield and defence and has instructed our CB not to go forward, but our midfield to drop back. In the past we have set up defensive when guarding a lead, but I am not convinced it is a method suited to us. I prefer attacking football.. however there is the risk of being caught on the counter and with people like Neymar, they only need to get in the box and go to ground... lets face it half these referees want to give penalties for nothing against us, then hand out yellow cards when people dislocate shoulders. At the end of the day, if the Hendo rumours are true we are sacrificing substantial creativity for some defensive security.
