I just wonder why there has been a lack of goals, from the forwards, who had such a good strike rate last season. Tonight & Saturday's home games against Cardiff may see a change in fortunes, for the Red men.

Mane was severely out of sorts after his sending off against City.
Firmino looked as rusty as he always does in early season.
Add to that the fact that teams are sitting deeper, not reacting as much to our press, playing more long balls to negate our press, Klopp being slightly more defensive, and the picture becomes a lot clearer.
When the front 3 click (soon hopefully) we'll see teams getting battered again.
In the meantime, I welcome our defensive solidity, and note that we've still been creating chances, we just haven't been putting them away.
