Fabinho and Wijnaldum were consistently strong for the whole of the 90 mins with Fabinho yet again having more key moments (through balls, tackles etc). Salah and Mane were great in spurts and came into the game more in the later stages whilst Shaqiri was a great addition when he came on and gave us that drive and creativity that we lacked.

      Overall, Fabinho MOTM :)

Arsenal. I am a bit worried about Gomez being rusty by then, I'm not sure why he was rested.

Played enough this season for that not to be the case surely?

Would play him right back. Not too enamoured with Lovren today but Trent looked more suspect defensively when Murphy was put on him in the second half although he did provide his usual supply of excellent balls from the right. His cross for the first goal was sumptuous.

FORTRESS ANFIELD and having played City I cant see us dropping anymore points at home this season.
Really pleased in the end to stuff this lot to shut Warnock up.

Mo back to his best, not that it was in any doubt (apart from to some weirdos on here).

      Mane going through the gears.

Fabinho and Shaqiri settling in brilliantly.

Winning a game with Moreno at left back.

      Top of the table.

      Life's good.

Yeah, I would like us to seriously consider Gomez at RB vs Arsenal.

Resting Robbo and Joe is good management great management and we have a week off until the Arsenal game.  Moreno is Moreno but at lest he did give Robbo a well earned rest.
What a squad we have now

Only negative is allowing the goal...would have loved for another clean sheet..

      When we playing next?

Annoyed that they scored the goal that ended our string of clean sheets in the league since February. But it was always going to come and it came in a fashion that was complacent rather than anything tactical. But Klopp will be pissed off with that regardless. Then again it came down Moreno's side so can we be too surprised? He didn't do too badly did Albert in fairness but I think his presence costs us any claim/desire for clean sheets when he plays.

Let's just be grateful that the shutout ended in a 4-1 victory. Would happily have taken that before the match.

Wonder what the experts make of Mo this week  4 goals looking sharp and the same for Mane.
the only points dropped are City and home and Chelsea away that is League winning stuff.

Salah gets a little rest on international break and all of a sudden he looks like The PL’s best player again. Wonderful week for our king. Confidence is soaring into a big game. Top of the league boys

I'm trying to see it as a positive because now it's less likely Moreno will get a chance again. I'm thinking Klopp must have looked at December and realized that he needs to rotate Robertson. I would rather have Milner at LB than Moreno. With Fabinho getting in the squad, once Keita returns... Having Milner instead of Moreno to rotate with Robertson in December might be our best option.

      Special mention for Mane

We're all chuffed for Salah smiling again and Shaq getting his first in front of the Kop, but that's another two goals from Mane and one in the week.

Solid player and long may it continue

Thought Salah was man of the match though, with FABinho a close second.

Mane just keeps on keeping on. Isn't that right Mane
