As annoyed as I was with that lineup (and frankly the ones who made a difference today were all starters, apart from Keita who IMO should start more often), right now I am happier with the fact that we splashed the cash on Virgil van Dijk and Alisson Becker. Those two are world class. If they keep that level of performance up, in a few years they could be the best I've seen play for LFC in their respective positions. I think they've been the main difference between drawing and winning this season. Those last couple of games have been two somewhat lucky wins in a row, and they'd both be draws or even defeats if it wasn't for VVD and Alisson.

Wolves have done their bit tonight as well.

Just need Emery to do a number on Mourinho.

Chelsea lost and hopefully the gooners and Manx’s will finish a draw with injuries. A good night. Huge win tonight, particularly given the changes. This squad have to be able to do that to have any chance of winning the title. I think Milner just pips Zkeits for motm for me.

He went too far with 7 changes, but Klopp got the subs spot on today.

Well I said this lot were there to be had at and we showed them in the end! Far too many smug, snide negative Nigels on here at half time when the reality is that the first half was merely timid and meek from us. Not disastrous.

Even at 1-0 down I was not unduly worried - 35 minutes was still more than enough to get back in and win the game and we responded brilliantly to the challenge. Loving Sturridge's deep play in this half and it was nice to see Origi with a nice lay off for Milner to sweetly strike us in. Boy, I would love to see a team of 11 Milners! Firmino and Salah were superb and just added another dimension to our play and it was so perfectly timed by Jürgen as well. Delighted to see Firmino do so well especially given he's had a really poor couple of games before this.

Disappointed to see Gomez go off injured but we have to suffer these sort of injuries. Trent will get a good run at right back but maybe Milner can deputise in place of Trent. Lovren and Matip can provide the adequate cover at centre back.

The goal we conceded was scrappy but our defensive line was superb at times tonight even if individually we were a bit off but that's understandable given how makeshift it was with the exception of big Virgil who was once again commanding. Even Moreno was decent - well played Albert.

All in all a thoroughly satisfying night of football and an excellent result. And it's the most relaxed I've felt watching a game this whole calendar year (I felt so zen tonight, I wonder what was in that pasta sauce I had earlier) so I was actually able to appreciate the football rather than get all paranoid and worked up. On another night I'd be calling Burnley a bunch of reckless bas**rds, but tonight I'll just say 'tough but fair' (with the exception of Bardsley).

      Good stuff lads!

      Professional performance in the end

Good that a number of players got a rest and others got some minutes their belt

Sloppy goal to concede but played well after -Sturridge poor starting again but rest of the team where ok except Naby who was superb

      Very good win.

It was never going to be fluid football, but we did enough, and in the end, Klopp will be very happy with his game plan. We had to use the squad depth, and the bench players needed game time, so I was happy to see those changes. In all, they got the game time, and we got the win. Could it be any better really?

VVD was immense, Alisson was brilliant, and TAA was great too. Big shout out for Sturridge who had an excellent game.

What's up with Sean Dyche? Apart from his team being sh*te.

He’s upset that Jürgen didn’t celebrate the goal on his pitch

Still hot on the heels of City.

      Alisson, VVD and Keita immense.
