I gave my MOTM to Matip, thought he was brilliant tonight..

In high-paced, end-to-end games, Wijnaldum is probably one of the best midfielders around. Absolutely bossed it tonight in my opinion. A few bad passes, but overall he was brilliant.

Yeah, I thought Wijnaldum was our 2nd best player on the pitch, and a huge shout out to Matip who was fantastic again.

Alisson is god!

He would have given those on the becnh yellow cards if he could, that's how bad he is. Small time, small town referee.

he never gets much praise but when he is fit and has a few games he is a great option for us did brilliantly tonight

That Alisson save? Blimey! Put that up alongside Dudek's miracle save in Istanbul!

Henderson showed what he brings to the party tonight - tackles , passes , composure, calmness - superb from him

Yes he had one of his better games, i am eating a very small slice of humble pie, however,  i still think he's not the answer to our midfield and believe part of his problem is consistency,  if he can replicate his better performances then fine he'd deserve a starting berth, but unfortunately that's what has let him down more often than not,
but fairy muff tonight he played really well.

Rui has to be one of the worst LBs I have ever seen, bumbling idiot all game, Salah dominated him.

2nd half we could have been out of sight, great chance for Salah and about 3 glorious chances for Mane...how he didn’t score is beyond me.

Alisson Becker!! Looks like we’ve got another bargain from Roma. What a player!! Exactly what you want from a keeper, to win you games and that he has done!

Sorry if I sounded dismissive - I was jumping around like a loon for a few minutes there!  Yep, you're right - don't know what sort of shooting practice Mane and Wijnaldum do but they need to step it up.  They both snatched at easy chances.
