I'm glad we didn't rotate. Roy really dented City confidence.

You have us potentially winning the league in January yea?

F**k sake people like you are the reason Liverpool supporters get the piss taken out of them every season.

Give your head a wobble we have half a season of highly competitive football to go let's take it a game at a time ok.

To be fair, if we hold our own over the next few games (with Arsenal and City) with perhaps a win vs City, then the title really is ours to lose. The big test is here right now. But if we are still top heading toward the end of January, then surely we have to believe?!

No-one is getting carried away, but we just look so strong. The defence is even more impressive. The lads have confidence that if we score in a game, we've basically won it. We hardly concede at all - and that's a tremendous strength.

MOTM.....Shaqiri...simpl y because when he is on the field, LFC plays their most energetic & creative ball......plus he usually nets a beauty.
      Mane had some great runs.
"Back Pass" Henderson actually brought the ball forward through the defense though my eyes may have been playing tricks.
Tremendous strike by Dolph Lovren....self proclaimed best defender in the world.
Hats off to the fans at today's game.....Loud 'n proud.

Let's keep this party going.....19 complete....19 to go

Well I wasn’t expecting Robbo, Salah or Bobby to start with Arsenal and City up next.
But another convincing win and another well deserved 3 points.

These last four games even I'm believing you can win it now.  :f_wah: You lads hit a rich vain of form at the right time as City have hit a bad patch.

Previous poster literally said if we win the next two games we win the title.

Another brilliant win, with a clean sheet. Look forward to seeing the highlights later on Motd. Six points clear at the top of the table, a great Christmas present for the fans.

He’s been fouled plenty of times and stayed on his feet and never got f**k all so he was right to go down.
I'm baffled why, in a sport called "foot"ball, any grabbing of a jersey, pull on a shoulder, or tug of an arm is tolerated. These acts are conscious attempts to impede.....yet every match seems to be governed by makeshift rules with zero consistency.
Can't touch the ball with your hands but you can mug your opponent with 'em.

Want more goals......bring the hammer down on these illegal acts....swiftly...... with no mercy.
      Players will adapt quickly.

Regarding the Salah ruling: Hand on the attacker's shoulder is not a natural arm movement/placement regardless of the amount of force applied to the shoulder. Clear infraction.
Should not be up to ref to judge "force".

A timely reminder to the idiot who continues to disrespect Rafa today when the ground in unison chanted his name and the Istanbul song which was clearly aimed at him. When we have 53,000 in the ground showing their appreciation and one idiot on a forum it shows who is right by a ratio of 53,000 to 1.
He looked so sad after the game why he continues with this broken club is beyond me Ashley actually makes twit and tw*t look like decent owners

Cracking strike by Lovren, don’t hit them much sweeter than that.

Fabinho certainly looks settled now; 2 assists and a goal in 3 games.

Mane however, I’m starting to have a real sense of humour failure with him and his attacking performances. His touch is poor, his shooting has been poor and his passes in crucial situations hasn’t been good enough. He’s sticking out as weak link in our attack at the moment. He scored a good goal a few games ago but other than that, he’s no where to be seen near the scoresheet. My only grumble with the performance, once again.

      Boss!

It’s just nice having that lil two game cushion there isn’t it? We could literally lose the next two games and still be top after it... that’s insane to think at this stage... just gotta keep going, I expect no more than four points in the next two.

I voted Shaq as the motm, running non stop and buzzing around the box and rewarded with a goal. Others performed well too but bobby and mane performance have deteriorated in the last few games.

I meant that we didn't click at the beginning of the season. We won and got all the points but the performance on the pitch was not 100%. The Napoli game @Anfield changed that and since then we play like bosses.

There’s no point trying to justify the B.S you have been coming out with for most of the season. We were breaking records and there you were the lone voice of reason pointing out how crap we were most weeks, completely overlooking the defensive resilience and solidity that has been so evident all season and which has (so far) been the cornerstone for the season.

Whether Shaq plays or not Jürgen is getting more out of him than most of the pundits thought possible. This man know how people tick and he knows how and when to use them.
