Unfortunately it didn't and the game had to be chased 2nd half,
resulting in Fabinho coming on and a shift to the deeper 2 midfield that has been used to
attack teams in more open games.
City had nothing to lose. They had to attack the game.
Maybe people underestimate how freeing that mentality is.
Liverpool caught between not wanting to lose and a draw being enough.
