We should just pull out of the FA Cup altogether. We always put out s sh*t team and it always gets beaten.

Out of both cups at first attempt. Half-hearted teams. Nothing happening.

What does that say about our squad depth if this is how we perform? A couple of changes, and the players coming in could have done well. But with so many changes, no-one seemed to know what they were doing throughout the 1st half, chances were continually wasted, and the play completely disjointed.

What was Origi and Sturridge going to do? Origi did really well with a chance out of nothing. Don't think he got anything else. Sturridge meanwhile had zero chances created for him the whole game. Same happened with Salah. What could he do? Keita couldn't even get the ball to him on a simple pass. So it just wasn't happening.

Firmino played well when he came on, but that was to be expected in the centre of the pitch with tiring legs around him.

Camacho did okay, but was wasteful.
Hanover did well, and in parts very well, but also sloppy and almost gave a goal through his errors.
Jones was okay.. in parts.. but nothing showing for it.

The other lads were slow. Keita most disappointing as he is supposed to be so much better. Can't this lad run?
Milner had a bad game. Fabinho well enough in defence considering that's not his position, but was also rushed and sloppy at times.

No-one had a good game. Klopp had it all wrong. Almost intended.. he really didn't seem fussed about getting knocked out.

Fair enough, we can focus on the league now, I suspect that's what Klopp wanted.
      I really don't mind.

Btw why do F***ing Wolves have a better second GK than us?

Only positive was the performance of the youngsters. Wish we’d taken it more seriously, but as long as we win the Prem, I’ll get over it! 👍

Worried about Ketia,s form or lack of it

Unrealistic to expect someone who hasn't played.much recently to come in and play outstanding.  That is why i hate the number of changes made. It's just too disjointed

Tonight will soon be forgotten. Might even be looked at as a pisitive come May

Aside from that possible positive, that was appauling from too many players

Well, if Klopp can't be bothered with the FA Cup, I don't see why I should either.

Still, he has to realise he's won nothing and halfway through his fourth season with us. He may have the luxury of fielding a side like that tonight, but that luxury won't be there for much longer. Just hope it doesn't come back to haunt him.

      G'night

The selection tonight started as a team that hadn’t really played together, and they sure as hell proved that at final whistle.

Just all fragmented and nothing in sync. No ‘howlers’ just indifferent play. The only positive was Hoever who looks a real hot prospect.

i wasn't very impressed with either Jones or Camacho, young Dutch kid looked decent after being thrown into the mix when Lovren went out hurt. Very disjointed effort though it took a great long range shot to beat us but some players who had chance to show manager they should be playing more didn't take the chance (Ketia/Sturridge). I think Klopp did the right thing playing a side of bench and young players after tough period of games the past month.

But Ketia should be the finished article, he's far from that.

I'm not hugely fussed that we're out. Feels completely wrong to think and even worse to type out but I just want us to focus on the league.

It's not that I am particularly down about being knocked out of the FA Cup. However, some of the individual performances have been extremely sh*t.

Sturridge, Keita were invisible. Moreno was utter, utter dross. Origi (apart from a decent goal) and Shaqiri (apart from the free-kick) also showed nothing.

All 5 are basically our B team, so very disappointing from them.

What do you expect? It was a shuffled team, no rhythm, no set pieces, just playing together from scratch. Also the way Jürgen did choose the team it was clear to everybody that he's OK with a loss. Not a good motivation either. Yes, give Robbo, Mané, Bobby and Salah a break, but that's it.

Disappointed to go out, it's a trophy - would've maybe hoped we'd stay in it a bit longer, give some of the squad lads another run.
Bit unlucky to get a side as strong as Wolves so early on too.
CBs did OK, Moreno wasted a lot of ball, Camacho didn't have a great night imho.
In the middle, anyone wondering why Keita's not playing in the PL saw why.
Studge wasn't in it, and don't think Shaq did enough on the night either.
Throwing on Mo and Bob was hit and hope, but we didn't play well enough overall on the night.

Jürgen took a chance - probably thought, we win - fine, we go out - so be it. Don't think he's going to be massively upset.

Shows how little big sides think of the FA Cup. Media trys to big it up, but you just have to look at us tonight to see where its at.

So the hyperbolic statements are now spewing out.

We'll be 'looking back at this match' if we don't win either the league or the European Cup apparently. Yeah that's right...because the two defining matches in our failed title bids in 2008-2009 and 2013-2014 can be traced to when we got knocked out of the FA Cup early on against Everton in 2009 and Arsenal in 2014.

      Yeah f**king right.

Yeah F***ing right, ended up with F**k all both times,  that is what prioritising competitions does for you.

You know who was absolutely disgrace? It's Sturridge. Just no desire to put any effort. He thinks he will get something delivered on a plate or some space and he will try to hit a worldie. Go to 67th minute of the match. You will know the desire of this lad.

At least with Moreno, we know his level. Should be playing league 2, forget premier league, let alone liverpool.

And Keita. The F**k he thinks of himself. Never looking to make a pass and thinks he can always go for a run.

And all the other players? Where is the fixing urgency of playing for our club. It's a joke we are giving man of the match to a 16 yr old kid when we have apparent superstars not bothering to turn up for the club.

Give the guy a run of games and he will come good for sure. It’s hellishly difficult to come in to a foreign league and adapt to a style of play when you’re not playing much. He shows glimpses here and there every match, and once he becomes more regular it will all 100% click for him.

Fine margins vs City with the post and once again today.

I’m fully expecting a huge overreaction both on here and the media but in truth it’s more beneficial to our league campaign not having it, whether we want to admit it or not. It’s a lose lose for Klopp - if we had played the likes of Salah, Alisson, Virgil...basically our strongest line up from the off and one of them had gotten injured and missed the rest of the season or got sent off then that wouldn’t have been right, tried to rest his key players after a hectic and intense set of fixtures to focus on the league and it’s still not right so it’s a good job Klopp doesn’t pay attention to what people say because a lot of short term memories are about to be coming out on display.
Yet if we win the league nobody will even give the slightest sh*t about this result.

It wasn’t a good performance but it wasn’t the worst, it wasn’t like we got battered all over the pitch and just like the result against City a few days ago, 1 or 2 players have cost us defensively and we’ve had bad luck with the woodwork.
No denying the likes of Milner, Origi, Sturridge, Keita and Moreno stunk the place out but there’s still a lot of positives to take from this. All the youngsters done well and Camacho showed why there’s no need to fret about Clyne going. A narrow defeat with several players who have no future at the club, created more openings than them, had more possession and it wasn’t a blood bath like some will make out.

Hell if anything, hopefully Wolves will take this into the games at the weekend and take points off City for the second time this season.

I can happily take winning the league and CL instead.

We were really poor and deserved to lose this match. I think that this match shows that some players have no business doing at Liverpool.

This game just shows us that Michael Edwards still has some work to do. The difference in us and City is team B. Our team B is filled with sh*t show boys like Moreno, Migs, Studge, Origi, and Lovern.

We need to send Studge and Origi our to pasture and bring in guys like Werner. Everyone pray we don’t have any more injuries
