      Team should be

      Allison
      Trent Matip VVD Robbo
      Fabinho Gini
      Keita
      Salah Bobby Mane

with Shaq to come on to score some extra goals ;-)

Its essential that our midfield isn't passive and Keita gives us a nice attacking edge, if we are well in the lead and need to be more defensive then we can swap James or Hendo for Naby.

I honestly think we can win this if the lads are in the right frame of mind but I'm not looking forward to the game at all, hate this fixture, so many painful memories over the years.

Must not lose. Probably must win.

We need the 3 points to maintain our position and lead. If we lose this, the momentum passes to Man City and we are chasing and hoping they slip up. Simply cannot afford that. City are on form - us not so much.

Just win, and win again.  ;D

Sorry mate, don't agree, a draw would not be a disaster. If anybody thinks that Citeh will not drop anymore points they need to give their head a wobble.

We just need to stay ahead of them and because they own the GD we need to have more points and one more point is enough. @United you have to be content with a draw, esp. after their cancer (Mou) is gone. And then we need to win as many as possible games and hope for at least one more slip of City for if they win out they'll win the league since we WILL lose some points down the road.

I can understand the nervousness by some. They want to spoil our party, of course they do. We’d be in the same boat for sure and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I absolutely don’t fear them. Put them on their heels early and then we’ll see how they react. Go at them with attacking waves and I don’t think they’ll cope.

The match at Anfield, (granted they were in a much worse mindset and morale than they are in now), we made them look so ordinary and Shaq stepped up.
We cannot go out nervous. Take the game by the scruff of the neck. I love challenges like this. If we want the Holy Grail, we need to earn it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My mind keeps going back to last season’s Anfield match vs. City. From the 50th to 70th minute, it is some of the most scintillating pressure and exquisite football to lead 4-1. Electrifying stuff. We have to rediscover that passion and hunger because when we do, no team in this planet can cope!!

Believe in the boys. We are Liverpool.
We’re going to step up in a big way.

I believe Klopp did not beat a Mourinho-led United since he came over? With Solksjaer he will likely try to play football which should make it more open for us.

Let's hope for it, but it's a slim chance. Every coach knows by now the blueprint to maximize his chances (proven the way Bayern "sissied" @Anfield): focus on defense and use your quality for counter attacks. But then Solskjaer looks like a teenager with grey hair that might be the son of Gollum (no kidding, he reminds me of him), so who knows.  :D

We beat a Mourinho led United this season ( he got the sack the day after )

      Won 1
      Lost 1
      Drew 5

Also beat them 4-1 in pre season if we can count that at all 😀

At least this is a game where we just focus on the game rather than worrying about having to win.

It's away at Old Trafford. A point keeps us at the top. We will have to play well just to   get a point at their place really.

If it was Mourinho in charge, then I'd have been vary of them, as the guy knows how to frustrate the f**k out of good teams. But with Ole in charge? We saw what a PSG (missing a good portion of their attack) did to them.

Never been this confident going to Old Trafford since that 13- 14 season and the Europa league tie.

Think the 3 subs will be crucial here

So would have Milner, Shaq on the bench to come on late to either manage / impact the last 20 mins - possibly include Naby in that as well

Slightly more confident with no Jose bus parking - as Ole doesnt seem to know how to do that, which will help us I think

He'd better keep tabs on studs up Pogba and those dirty little tw*ts Young and Herrera.

I saw on Twitter BBC advertising their “combined” LFC & Manure 11.........

It lead on “Wijnaldum or Herrera”.......f**k me that’s like a top end brand SUV or a f***in bin lorry.

      F**k off with that sh*te.

I hate this game with all my heart, fuuuuking hate it. Like the bitters they always bring the longest studs and try to injure our players, especially that thug Young and Herrera.

I hope we all come back in one piece. I would like to go for 2-1 to us but these are dirty cu*ts so who knows really.
