The guy was poor. A large portion of the team losing the ball came from him and has been the case for most of the season.

You are an idiot. Sorry to be a pr**k but that’s just the cold hard truth.

Well done to Jürgen and the lads.
Pressure was on to get the 3 points, and they went out and got the job done :)
Thought Keita might start, but good to see Jürgen change things a bit and give us a bit more attack/creativity from the middle with Lallana in the first XI. Was a risk, but paid off.
Mo's touch still a bit off, but can't doubt he's still getting on the ball and making things happen.

Citeh lead back to 1 point.
As per earlier in the season when we trailed them, just have to keep winning and keep the pressure on, and be there to take our chance when it comes.
24 points still to play for.

No rest though. Roll on Bayern :) Can't wait for that one...

We battered Burnley today. Could have been 7 and Burnley were very lucky to score 2. A poor refereeing decision and a lapse of concentration late on in believing we had made it accounts for their two goals. Nice to see us outfight them in the physical stakes as well. Dyche always loves to play the hard man like the pepped up aggressive piece of sh*t he is but when they get found out his team are a right bunch of pussy cats. Awful technically, simplistic, remedial tactics, bone headed players - quite simply they would do all of English football a great favour if they were to be relegated. Doing one over that c**t and his band of merry shits is always a good day.

On today's match, Keita has even more to prove because on his day Lallana can be the heartbeat of the team's attacking output something Keita can't be. You could just see how much more Salah, Firmino and Mane were revelling in it compared to last week's impotent midfield display where all three were feeding off scraps. It just highlights the importance of players like Lallana (and Oxlade Chamberlain) in maximising the potential of that front three. Keita by comparison (who I know did not play last week but has had the burden of being our main creative force in midfield for much of the year) has quite simply failed to come near to liberating that attack - if anything he stymies it, in that he carries the ball too far and for too long by which point the opposition defence are comfortably in possession and he inevitably loses it. Unless Klopp wants us to play a more patient, calmer style of football then fine - Keita is more than able and perhaps ideal for that role. But I don't believe that he has the ability to unleash the blitzkreig type of play we've become so accustomed to over the last 3 years. The hellish gegenpress is something I've felt we've lacked this season and we've lacked it because we haven't had the players in midfield. As Adam showed today, with the right midfielders in there then we get back to playing closer to our more natural, fearsome attack and the performances of the front three will prove it. It's a while since I can remember all three of Sadio, Bobby and Mo playing as high a level as that.

Today was a return to the relentless type of attack that did for us so well around this time last year. But given the injury history both Lallana and Chamberlain have, I think it's essential to go back into the market come the summer and seek that type of front foot, aggressive presser that can see us slip back into our natual style of attack and restore Mane, Firmino and Salah to the incredible levels they displayed last year.

Jürgen Klopp says sorry for conceding two goals. He’s sorry he didn’t entertain those who didn’t enjoy today’s win. He’s sorry it wasn’t full throttle and at times  boring. Jürgen says sorry he has let your high standards down time and again because you expect a perfect performance every second. Best of all, Jürgen is sorry we weren’t 5-0 up at kick off. Jürgen says you’re free to support Man City if you’re always disappointed. Jürgen cannot help you and wants to say goodbye to you who cannot be happy with today’s win.

Lallana goes on to be man of the match.

      Love it.

Ooooohhh, don't you love when someone comes here to let you know how things ACTUALLY ARE, as opposed to how you freaking fools THINK they are?

They come here in their wisdom to tell us the COLD HARD TRUTHS, not what we want to hear.

I think we should THANK them, and ADMIRE them for their unquestionable bravery. Alternatively they can f**k off, whatever works best for everyone.

That’ll do nicely, we were all over them today after the first 10/15 minutes or so.

Wish Salah got on the scoresheet, but you can’t have everything.

Today was good result in wild windy conditions which probably suited burnley more. We can't afford to drop any points on the run in. We need to lift it a notch every game. It's exciting times. With all our near misses over the last number of years in just missing out on pl and been beaten in cup finals sum by terrible referring we need silverware a lot more than city do

Pissed it in the end, funny how tho the commntators say we were nervy cos Burnley got a late goal yet Watford done the same V City but they won comfortably,  once again the pro-Manc media bias shines through,  only difference is its light blue and not red!!

Well done today lads, got the job done, got three points and continue to breath down City's neck, oh and, well played Adam Lallana,  deserving MOTM, Klopp's a genius  :f_whistle:
