      BACK TOP!!!!!

I have a hard time deciding who is my MOTM. Henderson came in and produced a goal and an assist as well as giving us an incredible jolt of energy, but at the same time, Bobby worked so hard all night both defensively and offensively and what an assist he provided to Henderson too!

I gave Klopp plenty of stick in the Spura game for falling asleep in the sidelines but tonight he was spot on in the 2nd half subs, both in personnel and timing. Completely changed the game.

That last 30 minutes was great and we would've blown away better teams than Southampton with this type of attacking play. But how do we get to that level...took us a hour to get fired up tonight.

I said at half time 1-3..1-4..many said the same but we have to kill games off quicker.

the much maligned Hendo and Milner changed the game

we are top of the league mate against the best team in the world

Tell you what pal, they keep going on about the quadruple.  Wouldn't it be great if we did the League and European Cup double leaving City with the FA cup and League cup = talk about a poor second!!!

Then we'd hear about the best team in the world, eh?

Now that was a confident Salah!

Keita, Salah and Hendo, all without a goal for a while and all on the scoresheet, will be a massive boost to all of them. Very much the way of our midfield this season, the ones who got hauled off last week came on and were up there with our best players on the night. Don't think Keita done much wrong, could see he was a bit lacking in sharpness at the start but grew into the game well, done enough to start next time out.

Hendo, christ the passion from him on that goal! His first goal and assist of the season and it comes at a vital time of the season, great stuff. That pass from Bobby though was boss, can't not mention that.

Made it hard work and maybe one of these days we will make light work of a game from start to finish but f**k it, it's brilliant!!

The subs could easily have been viewed as negative by Klopp but it won us the game, it was only after the subs that we really took a firm hold of the game.

As for Bertrand, all that time wasting for nothing. Maybe don't time waste before the end of the game and it wont come back to bite you.

Need to start picking up clean sheets again though, another goal conceded that should have been avoided.

If people are so bitter that they can't give one of their own players a bit of credit then I genuinely don't think I can be arsed anymore

It's understandable. I'm a Hendo fan but I'll admit I've knocked him as he does go to ground so to speak.Puts in average games so fans will back him more when they see what they saw tonight.

That was the best I've seen Hendo for a long time. Their will be qualified praise, also Klopp didn't pick him...for a reason.

You reckon?  Tough place to go but they've too much for Palace's defence, surely?  I can see the Spuds (League) and Manure being the games they struggle in.  F***n hope so.  Ironic if the Trafford Tossers help us to the title!

      Haha.

Not sure if it was Ljinders or not but on the 2nd or 3rd goal, someone came flying and skipping down from the dugout celebrating.

Very good analysis by Neville just then about the run in and how he saw tonight.

Good pundit and was being honest.

Don't forget,. Last game is against Wolves. I remember when we won the League down at Molyneux in the last game of the season. Can't remember the season but it was a long time ago.

History going to repeat itself. Lets hope so!

Great run from midfield and a cool finish, but for me, the header out of defense for Salah to run onto and gather was pure class.

He got the pace and direction of that absolutely perfect.
There's going to be more games like this between now and the end of the season as teams battle for survival.
The key is to keep going, keep our game going, and we'll do this.

Sometimes a bit of patience is what it takes.
It's no accident we score so many late goals.

I feel the same, mate but there's enough sense talked here still to keep me coming back.  I've always liked Hendo for his attitude and his willingness to do the donkey work without complaining.  Someone has to, in any team.  For my money his suspension was the most important factor when we missed out at the end of 2013/4.

It certainly was on par with his Bayern home first half.

Must also say , fair play to Klopp for not plodding him down as a 6 and imo, playing to his strengths and higher up in an 8 role.

The Hendo we saw tonight was the Hendo that played for England when they beat Czech Republic 5-0. He was lively, aggressive, full of forward running and geeing everybody up. Being the leader, the Captain. He is a far better player than Dier of Spurs.

Will Klopp pick Hendo,Fabinho and Naby in midfield. Might do.
