Good result, pretty good performance. Couple of sketchy moments defensively first half, but overall very comfortable.

Gave Bobby MOTM. Close to his best performance this season, touch was really good. Don't see any probs with us going through to the semis now. Back to stressing about the league!

I felt we needed a third just to kill it off, Porto had their fair chances, they’ll be a different proposition at home..

Good result though & the boys were superb..

More difficult now? what are you on? if its more difficult at 2-0 against Porto you were probably ready to jump off a bridge after the 0-0 against Bayern, and how did that work out?

Do you have a crystal ball in front of you that says we'll win 100% in the return game? I need to hire you. Are you suggesting Bayern is same as Porto? Simple minded.

      spurs beat City happy days.
      Perfect night for us

Tbf I want them to progress for more games. No axe to grind with City for this competition. Only care about league defeats.

2-0 means we have to turn up and play and I am more than pleased with that.  Another win on the road to glory

The way I see it is I fancy us to score next week. That happens and they need 4.

I don't see us conceding 4 to Porto.

Some of you lot need to hop over to Blue Moon - constant negative sh*t regardless of the result.

A win tonight and a clean sheet was the perfect result and we've achieved that. We've got a foot in the semi's and I definitely fancy us to get at least a goal at their gaff which gives them a mountain to climb.

Special mention to the midfield who I thought completely bossed the game tonight. We did give them some chances but at the end of the day, that back four haven't played together very often at all, it's never going to be completely smooth sailing but they done very well overall.

      WELL PLAYED BOYS! :ernaehrung004:

Efficient. A little disappointed we didn't get a third, but that should be enough.

      MotM for me was Keita.

What do you mean what ? Are you watching the game take your tinted glasses off . If that challenge was against us you would have been screaming for a red

How, glasses are off, Mo goes for ball Man pulls his shoulder alters his balance completely and therefore he makes a high challenge, without that altercation yep defo a red

Yeah but it puts the pressure on them in the league if they get knocked out the CL. Would like to see Spurs put them out.

what gives you the right to complain?
the lads did all they could tonight Mo Salah was left back at one point and he put in the tackle to win the ball.
Get behind the lads they are giving us everything they have. This isn't a computer game its real
Oh yes because one moment in the 1st half his game...
Mo's work rate was 10/10 but his performance definitely wasn't anything better than 6/10. The team aren't immune to criticism.

Just more difficult than if it was 4 or 5, which after the first half it looked like it could be.

Think Mo could have done a tad better in some reverse pass situations but tbf he was surrounded by 3 the second he had the ball. Trust him to score in the 2nd leg and they would need 4.

fine, lose 1-0 and we still go through.

Do you not see that going up 2-0 into the 2nd leg is better than when we went to Bayern at 0-0? how is our current situation "more difficult"?

They have to score 3 to go straight through, 4 if we score 1 and with the way we opened them up in the 1st half and outscored them 7-0 in the 2.5 games we've played them, why shouldn't we be confident going into the 2nd leg?

      This is a fantastic result.

Robbo back for the 2nd leg.
      Gomez on the bench.
      2 goals.
      Clean sheet.
On another night Salah probably should have put a chance away.

Could have been better but it's a good result that.  Surely we can get a goal over there and surely they wont be scoring four.

Be amazing to get back to two consecutive European Cup semi finals IMO.
