Pretty much the line up I think it will be, apart from I think Gomez will be back alongside Virgil. Matip didn’t really do himself any favours against Porto and Cardiff should be the ideal game for Gomez to make his first start back.
I can see Gomez starting against Barca so he needs to get that rhythm and back playing properly for then.

Hope it’s a nice straightforward win for us but as usual it probably won’t turn out that way so just literally any win will do!

Back to the league, I want to see plenty of goals in this one and Huddersfield, lets try to close the gap on Citeh.

Just a tad concerned the way Fab ended the Porto game. He looked knackered. But he has got to start cos Cardiff will play with 2 blocks of 4 and we need Hendo and Keita to penetrate.

      Any kinda win would do.

Goal difference will only be a factor if City lose one and we draw one.  Other than that scenario, it's irrelevant so not worth worrying about.

They have to drop points for us to win the league so 4 x 1-0 wins would do us.

Cardiff will park 2 busses in front of their goal, they need points, and even 1 point will be better then 0 at this stage. We need to again, be patient in this one too!

I'd rather be bringing Gomez back into the fold against Huddersfield at home to be honest.

Agree. On that right side of the defence, Gomez-Lovren pair for Huddersfield and TAA-Gomez pair for Barca, esp since Dembele will be back and Joe's pace will be crucial.

Yep, would expect this XI to start.
Thought Origi and Gini were really poor in Porto. Milner a little better. So Hendo, Keita and Bob start.
Maybe bring on Gomez once 2 up to make things solid.
Hendo's form has been a real plus in recent matches, hope will be again.
Then maybe Spuds can do us a favour - running out of games, need someone to take a bite out of them soon.
And we have to get the 3 points.

Slight suggestion that Robbo is looking a bit weary. I think he has given everything this season would it be that much of a gamble to rest him and play Jim lad V Cardiff. We will need him on top blob esp for the Barca game.

The boss has managed the squad incredibly well. Has managed TAA to perfection. So I'm sure he'll make the right call on Robbo.

That might be a good suggestion but I'm not sure how dangerous or not Cardiff are down that flank.

Robbo missed the first leg against Porto and was taken off with 20mins to go Wednesday.

      He will be fine.

We'll win this unless we play complete sh*te and Cardiff have their game of the season, even then I'd give us 50-50.

Not in a position to be resting players from here on in. Robbo will have to play.

The Porto pitch was heavy and one or two might be feeling it so I wouldn't rule out Klopp resting one or two. Tired players get injured easier and obviously we can't afford to lose anybody thru over stretching.

Warnock threw the towel in at City but he might just come at us and leave the back door open. If he sits deep as he might we will have to keep at it till the chances come.

The odds will be stacked against Cardiff again when they face Liverpool on Sunday.

The last time the Bluebirds beat the Reds was 1959, as the legendary Bill Shankly's first game in charge of Liverpool ended in a 4-0 defeat.

"Was it really? Wow. What a man. My favourite manager of all time," said Warnock.

Fairly confident of a two or three goal win for the Reds. Despite this game being a potential banana skin. Think the way the side are performing, we'll be too strong for Cardiff.
