At the start of the season, I said Man City last year fundamentally changed how you go about a league campaign.
Up until then, you are basically looking at 2.25 pts per game - ie 9 points every 4 games
I said that now you have to find a way to win 30 league games - so in excess of 93 points given you are probably going to draw a few
Assuming we win Sunday - we will have won 30, drawn 7 - and in all likelihood the third best points total in history
The problem we face is a City side that have the first and second (possibly) best totals in history, in back to back campaigns.
So next year, its not a case of winning 30 games - its actually winning 32 games (which City possibly have done twice now)
That is statistically ridiculous (84% win rate of all league games - when most teams probably get 70ish)
Not giving up hope yet - but these are two freakishly amazing teams the likes of which we may never see again
