tbh. I think he could be a legend there. But I have a sneaky feeling if Villa and gerrard want him, he will go there.

His days of being a legend anywhere are long gone. Wherever he ends up, there's going to be more pressure on him than ever before. If he goes to a team like Villa, Newcastle etc then there will be massive pressure on him to reproduce the impact he had in England before. I'd say about pressure of him going to a big team but them days are long gone.

He's finished, he will spend the rest of his career bouncing from club to club, probably end up in the MLS or back in Brazil before long.

Could be but he is still 29 and he has never depended on pace. He has always been a player with a eye for a pass, great ball control and good shot. Those are things that he can still do, and even when he is over 30. He is a smart player and i think he will adapt with his age, like stevie did and i dont think its too late for him. I think he still can be a very good player for whomever signs him. He just needs a good manager/coach.

Why we're not all over this I have no idea. Pay 50% of his wages and will come back and perform I have no doubt.

Because he is sh*te and has been for 3 years

He is a treacherous little tw*t who faked an injury to force his way out of the club

He's a young man that made a mistake. He got his head turned. Brazilians grow up dreaming of playing for Barca or Real. He wanted to do everything to get the move. It was sh*t but he can be forgiven. Especially when we need players and he's tried and tested.

Putting emotions aside, the simple answer is we don't need him.
      1) As good as he was before leaving us, we were a better TEAM without him. Much more balanced. He didn't bring enough energy playing in midfield. And he's not going to come to play as the 5th striker.
      2) He's not the same Coutinho that left us in his prime. He hasn't been playing regularly these last few years. There must be a reason. And it also means his current fitness level is sh*t, which isn't compatible with JĆ¼rgen's system.

We need fresh blood, but there are far better options out there. Leave the past in the past.

I don't want him back just because of the way he treated the Club when he wanted out but

It's still gonna feel weird watching him run around in another PL's Club Colors.

Ha, I donā€™t think you need any help with that 😬

Canā€™t not think it may be worth a gamble with coutinho. Bit of a c**t but who cares if he comes and does a good job (if he can)?

For the money involved ( appears very cheap ) I can see why some members would take him back. However, not for me. It would be the equivalent to Tevez coming back to Old Trafford. There both snakes of the lowest order for what they did to their respective clubs. I wouldnā€™t p!ss on them if they were on fire but thatā€™s just my opinion.

Downed his tools at one of the most crucial junctures in our season. And that cringeworthy photo of him celebrating a goal against bitters.

I think we have moved on. No room for forgiveness as far as he is concerned.
