Of course it is. This team should be 5th or 6th at worst. Any competent coach should be able to play that level of football with this kind of talent. Since we know or can assume that Klopp is a competent coach I see only the following alternatives:

-many players are burnt out due to Klopp‘s style over the last 3 years,
-many players do not like Klopp and are bored of him, therefore playing against him,
-opponents have figured out Klopp‘s style, unknown to Klopp himself
      -Klopp himself is burnt out

No matter how you turn it - it does not look good, and especially it does not look like transfers are the answer to fix it. This is when you need a director or club hero like Kenny to look at things from an higher perspective and to open Jürgen‘s eyes.

Always a good laugh you 👍🙂

It’s not hard, don’t act so put out. 😢

If the players aren’t playing to standard and it’s not their fault, then whose fault is it? The manager is responsible for getting the players ready to play no?

If it’s the players fault then we obviously need new players.

You will do any mental gymnastics you can to make sure you don’t ever have to admit that maybe the players we have aren’t up to snuff and we need to replace some of them.

      Are you simple 🤷‍♂️

Did you even bother to read what I said

Do you understand something called form ?

The players right now have lost form , just because someone is playing poorly doesn’t automatically mean they are no longer good enough

Are the likes of VVD , Mo , TAA , Robbo no longer good enough and need replacing or is it a loss of form ?

We are going through a bad patch , it’s up to the manager along with his coaching staff to find a way for the team to recover and start to get some results and build the form back up

It’s called coaching as opposed to just selling and buying

You can’t just buy form and results

The players need to dig in and the manager needs to get those players working together again

You might laugh but there is an argument that there is an element of truth to most of the points he makes.

Gets a lot of sh*t, but he's bang on right. It's on Klopp and the players to put this right. Money isn't going to sort it. But you never get these problems on Fifa or Footy manager.

Why can’t you just stand behind a position? Why all the posturing and wriggling about? Weird.

      There is not “posturing”

Players lose form , it’s not one single persons fault ffs 🤦‍♂️

The manager is the one that puts the players on the pitch with the tactics he employs

He along with his coaching staff must the decisions in regards which players play and which tactics to employ

If they don’t work then I would expect the manager to look at reasons why and look to fix it

Not everything is solved by just recruitment

Klopp also needs to get the players working together again and the players need to dig in and battle

It’s called working together as opposed ti looking for someone to blame

Many of you have probably already seen this, but the frame of this with Klopp in it made me laugh almost to the point of tears. Tough day at home and work and depressed about the Reds too, so it just hit me perfectly I guess.

Anyway, I hope you all stop fighting and get some laughter out of it as well.

only one matter in hand now Everton nothing else matters.  A solid performance and a good win makes everything back on track.
Jürgen is probably the most self aware honest manager there is if he honestly thought the players were against him he would quit in a heart beat. He has given them success beyond their dreams and supported them when they arent at their best.

Not sure a win over Blueshite will steer us back on track mate, maybe give us a week’s bragging rights which is fairy muff, I’ve come to the conclusion now that this season is a right off, our only hope of silverware being the CL, and right now we have as much chance of winning that than Blueshite have of qualifying for it next season,

There is always hope of course, and all our collective hopes are for Diaz, Jota et al getting match fit asafp, until then i can’t see much changing, but you’re spot on mate, full attention on Blueshite on MNF.

Agreed. I just can’t see anything good from this season. We’ll draw at best against Everton and go out with a whimper against Real. It’s a nightmare but one that we’re used to now.

To be fair it’s the hardest question any Red could be asked.

      “What’s gone wrong this season?”

Great to see jurgens smile again last night. He can talk all he wants, do all the right things. But he needs to players to do their job and tonight they did.

For the most part his senior players stood up and performed. Yes there were a few hairy moments ... but in the main the concentration and focus and intensity was much better.

Really pleased for Jürgen and hopefully this is the foundation on which we build more consistency in performance which will bring more consistent results.

What did you lot say/do last nite at the match? Just listened to his post match interview and sounded very very humble. Said something about you being special and would of even taken his cloths off if the fans asked him.  ;D

It’s just impossible for me to dislike the red kunt.  :lmao: If there’s such a thing ( which there isn’t ) he would go down as my favourite Liverpool manager of all time. Please don’t quote me though.  :lmao:

thankfully those who go the game are 100% behind the team and the manager .Whatever the problems have been I just felt the right type of performance and win would clear their heads and we looked better as the game went on. Just so much to look forward to now.

Some positivity again, feeling confident we will now use last night as the base to finish the season off well.

Like klopp has said, the ups feel so much much better after some downs.

Everyone is human, not robots, after the last 5 years or so of epic levels of consistency they are allowed a blip.
