Doing and saying the right things re Diaz. Has to let Diaz decide his availability. Obviously we are all waiting and hoping for the release of his Father. Terrible stress and worry for Diaz obviously but the club will be there for him.

I know there's some time left yet ... but at what stage do we think about pushing an extension under the nose of the boss. I dread 2026 currently.

We wait until Jürgen is ready to discuss it, he's earned that right.

If Jürgen wants to stay beyond his current contract then he will, if he feels the time has come for us to part ways then that's what will happen. But ultimately it all rests with the man himself.

I think though, given how much potential this current crop has that Jürgen will be staying for some time yet.

With ye Billy, why would he start a new project if he didn’t intend to see it through, of course like you said he’s the one who will decide, and Ulla will have a major say, it will end one day for sure but, I honestly can’t see him walk when there is unfinished business,
I’m only surmising here but when Klopp pt 2 has run its course I would doubt he’d start pt3, by which time he would I believe give plenty of noticed and not just go, he built pt1 from 2015 and by 2022 it was done, so seven years or thereabouts, so using that analogy it’s entirely possible he could extend thru to 2030, and complete a nice round 15 years at the helm,  I don’t think anyone can grump if indeed this scenario works out ??

My money is on him signing a new deal during this season.

Klopp fu**ed up tonight to many weak players Gakpo isn’t strong enough without one of the bid three with him, Endo has no chance with Macallister in the middle.Matip needs the help of Virgil or Konate. as for Tsismakis words fail me. Doak was on his own.Thought Elliot tried his best tonight but was flogging a dead horse, other than the first team and one or two others the second string are left wanting

Read it, so what’s new ??

Klopp did get it wrong last night, but then when you keep making so many changes so often you lose momentum and perhaps even confidence, players won’t have the same trust playing with different players that usually play alongside them, Endo, Macca & Harvey won’t happen again, that was the error Jürgen made, he should have went with Szlobo, G’Berch and Macca/ Elliot, Endo couldn’t tackle a bowl of Scouse, Macca’s not been right lest few games, but then he wouldn’t be playing out of position, and Elliot has been a impact player for the most part, so from those three we we’re never going to dominate midfield or have any kind of cohesion,

Defensively we were pretty damn average, Kostas was sh*te, and I’m be in kind here, what was missing last night was leadership, no barking of orders, no direction, no one giving bollockings, no one directing play, it was all of a mish mash to be honest, maybe we were too complacent and took it for granted we’d piss it, since it was so easy at Anfield, i dunno, but what I do know is that mentally we were never set and in the end we played as individuals rather than as a team,

Jürgen has to pick them up now, and he will, best man manager ever in the world of sport……Ever !!!

      450 games as Liverpool manager.

What an achievement that is, especially in today's game. Only Bob, Shanks and Tom Watson have done it with this club previously so it shows just how good a manager Jürgen is to be in their company.

Many more to come as well, I'm sure.

My god that is teasing for sure !!! Both have no footballing reasons to leave.

This is as good as it gets for klopp as a manager and salah as a player. And I'm sure they both know that. And the club know the same in reverse and they deserve new deals.
