      Quote from billythered

Well what do you want then??  We’re top of the league, we’re in the semifinals of the League cup, the Last 16 of the Europa, still in the FA cup, and 99.999999999999% of Liverpool fans & Supporters are absolutely ecstatic about how our season is going…..except for you it seems, if you’re not happy then moan elsewhere !!

Like all forums, this one survives on people moaning. If it's not about the team, then it's something else. And the quote above is a good old moan, even though pretty much all of it is total nonsense.

I don't need to be reminded of where we stand atm, I've said it myself in other posts. All I said is this is not a new team imo, with so many players already here 5+ years and having won multiple trophies at this club. Why that should result in a wild uncontrollable and irrelevant rant is anyone's guess.

Not sure if it's me but the boss seems to have made more tactical changes this season and for the better mostly

The move to three centre backs was a smart one towards the end.

Until Endo is back (or Bajcetic) I think that's the only way we can give Mac Allister a breather as Jones isn't suited to the 6 at all.

Bringing subs on disrupted their late charge. Game should've been killed off by then but they fizzled out. Surprised at their lack of passion in the first 75 minutes, their crowd were crap as well...Marco was the noisiest.

On the whole Jürgens subs this season have been more brave, more timely and ultimately had bigger affect than I can remember over his time with us.

The odd time it's been throw of the dice without much tactics but again if it works and you're brave then it's the right move.

Pep Lijnders must take a lot of credit and it could be that Pep is the more tactical coach of the two. It's something that I'm not sure about.

Back in the day, and you'll know this yourself, Sir Bill was the motivator but Sir Bob was the more tactical of the two. Just interested as to whether JK is the motivator. Pep doesn't dictate tactics necessarily, but is the more astute tactician of the two.

I’m numb, I’ve never felt like this about football. I thought we had him for at least another 10 years.

      I’m in total shock

Shouldn't we try to give Pep a chance to continue where JK leaves?

I am just desperate now, since I dont want boss to leave.

Statement said everyone is leaving. The decks cleared. Pep wants to pursue a managerial career so I doubt that would be straight at the top with us.

Last chance saloon? Better get that title.. and the other 3 cups.

Hope the players are massively fired up to win this now. On the flip side.. desperately hope they are not devastated and it effects the matches (though surely they would have been notified before if there was talk within the club back in November)

Quite anxious about the future after he leaves but it had to happen some day.

Thanks for all the great memories and beautiful football. Let's enjoy the rest of the season.

Don't know who should come next, feels like he's irreplaceable.

I'm really worried about these contract situations now with our top players. I'm worried about everything.

I hoped Jürgen would extend after 2026. For me the worst case was he leaves in 26 with us established back at the top ... 2.0 in full on power mode. I never imagined this.

With regard to Xabi. I feel its too early for him. He's just cutting his teeth. 2026 might have been different. I love Xabi but I'm not sure it's the right time. I've no idea.

But I'm going to say this right now ... it can't and won't be Gerrard.

I’m not worried about Trent- he’s a scouser, he won’t leave.
