Poor Norwich team sat in the dressing room wishing they were still in the Championship.

What do you think Alisson injured? Good result but really worried for Becker.

What sort of world is it when the cameraman and commentator centres on Delia Smith and not Alan Hansen sitting next to her?!

Strangely enough, we've not been brilliant.. but what a score line at half time.  Aside from the 1st goal, our goals have been superb, really well worked, and fully deserved.

Bit of a slap in the face though with the injury to Alisson and a huge wake up call to the mentality that we don't need signings etc. Alisson is back for 1 match and he's picked up an injury. Are we still so sure that Mane, Salah, and Firmino are going to go injury free??

Not really playing that well are we :)
Soooo clinical, we have such quality now.
Norwich had some decent chances to score, that guy dunno his name had 3, probably should have scored at least 1.
Gave them a real lesson in grown up football.
4-0 up at HT, happy days.
Shame to see Alisson go off injured, hope its not too serious. Good game to ease Adrian in.
Expect to see all subs used, get a good run out.

We literally just signed a second GK just days ago for such an event.

If you're expecting a goalkeeper to come off the bench that is equal to the calibre of your first goalkeeper then you're f**king mental. Our bench is strong but there's no such thing as a bench that is equal to the first eleven players put out on pitch. Why do some people struggle to grasp that?

Adrián, Matip, Milner, Keita, Chamberlain, Shaqiri, Mané. I've been following LFC for almost 20 years now and I think this might be the strongest bench we've had in this whole time. I can't remember anything compared to it.

Great going forwards, not so great at the back.

Hopefully Alissoon's injury is nothing serious.

Well in Origi lad, a decent game and a nice goal.

They're creating an overload in midfield on our right, and getting one in behind a lot.
We either need some extra cover there, or for TAA to stay a bit deeper.

      Made the same point yesterday.

It puts all the doom and gloom into perspective.

Is it me or has Origi discovered buckets of pace over the summer? Some fantastic speedy runs down that left wing in that first half.

Weird half, we've been fairly average, especially in defence, but still look very dangerous every time we go forward, plus Origi playing well, much better link play and movement from him.

Scoring in the ECL final will do that for you. His confidence must be through the roof.

With the Super Cup and an away game coming up I'd expect us to just drop down a gear or two in the second half and focus on the clean sheet.

If Norwich play as they want to, and don't retreat into a defensive shell, they are going to cause plenty of teams problems this season.

I think he might not have the best acceleration but I've always thought he's damned fast when running at top speed.

Yeah I'd take Bobby and/or Mo off, give Brewster a run out plus Keita or Ox.
