We need to improve by keeping possession. We should have had the pen before for the handball, Elliott dived.

Origi should have scored. Free header.

If he's gonna miss those it may as well be in a league cup match.

But when it comes to Champions League Finals...

I'm disappointed in keita, not because he has been bad in this game but I expect so much better from him. His form has started to worry me.

Van Den Berg's not the quickest is he?  :D

I mean without stating the obvious, he’s a kid. But let’s be honest he’s been dreadful.

Although Origi and Keita have been pretty disappointing, big opportunity for them.

Senior boys letting us down. In fairness the midfield three don't go but nevertheless they've all been lazy on the ball. Origi sloppy for their second goal and missed a sitter as well.

It's 3-2 yes but it's a game where Arsenal can easily score 7 if they want to.

Not sure if Jürgen cares about winning this or not. I know I want to. I want to win everything we enter, kids or not. Well were back in it now, so lets get a grip and a massive improvement second half. Now going for 5 - 3 the red men

Berg and Kelleher are massive liabilities tonight with their inexperience.

Defense is the backbone of any team. Kelleher should have left the ball go for a corner rather trying to keep it alive for their second.

Theres no senior players on the bench so the young lads and the senior blokes already on the pitch will have to work this one out for themselves.

It's a shame Milner couldnt get into the midfield because Lallana, Ox and Keita are our 3 most attacking midfielders and playing all 3 together is a bit of a stretch.

Good finishing is to Make sure that you hit the target, force the keeper to make a save.
Origi should have at least hit the target.

Ox off and Larouci on with Milly into midfield is what I'd do.

Some bright spots, mostly a horror show, and that showing is why Keita and AOC don't start in Prem games yet.

I've no doubt they are both good players, but they are so clearly a good bit away from decent form.

You'd think people would trust Klopp enough by now to understand why he picks the teams he does; carved open by Genk, ripped apart by Arsenal.

Not easy for the kids out there, but some nice play from them.

You are right but I think it's down to lack of experience and nerves.
With time he will start thinking with his head.

Not a great performance but we're only down due to an offside goal... it's very difficult to judge individual performances when the whole is a makeshift lineup like that one

Hard to judge individuals when there is little or no cohesion as a unit. Not even going to mention the Sunday league level officials

How many times have we knocked poor balls into the middle from the wing to loose possession and have them running at our defense.
Mostly inexperience unfortunately, we're exposed at the back, not really winning headers from their crosses, look shaky.
Better when knocking over their midfield up the channels.
Of the experienced middle 3, Keita is poor enough, Ox average and thought Lallana actually did OK considering.

Let's face it, this could be anything.

Nobody to come on and change things, so hopefully we find something or at least the lads learn something from it.
Fair play to Elliot to win the peno after letting them in for no3.

Can't agree with you on that, I think we owe him more time to prove himself after what he did last season.

That was always the case though he's a decent enough squad player and impact sub.
