I may have read it wrong, and admittedly I didn’t read it all that closely but I got the impression it was more of a precaution than any sort of injury that’s going to keep him out for a run of games.

Can’t imagine he’d have been playing any part in the upcoming league games and the Champions League but expect he’d have been in line for a start in the Carabao Cup which will probably be the target to have him ready for.

Honestly I was kinda impressed with the second goal. Took a lot of composure imo. I still have very high hopes for Taki!

Got a goal or 2 in him; deffo a decent option from the bench if we need a goal with half hour left.

Taki & Div are now showing up and giving us some decent options to rotate the usual front 4.

Hopefully he can become a super sub striker for us who comes on and nicks a goal in the last 10-15mins, kind of in the mold of a Javier Hernandez or Solskjaer.

I'm not sure I share your view. Taki's biggest strength is probably that he's relentless. I feel Taki is at his best when he starts a game.
Out of the 2, Origi is probably more likely to be the impact sub.

A badly needed option, to come off the bench, keeping everyone on their toes !

His turns are so quick, he can do it on a dime. The big weakness is his size, he can be so easily pushed off the ball, but his potential in transitions is enormous.

Agree. I was really surprised during the Palace game that Klopp took Jota out but brought in Jones to play LW instead of bringing in Taki. To me he should be first off the bench at this point ahead of Origi and Ox.

Klopp ideally likes returning players to have 2 or 3 full training sessions before playing again after an injury, I don’t know how many Taki had at that point but it could be the case that it was a risk playing him vs Palace and firmly had the Norwich game in mind for his comeback.

Having him on the bench at least got him back in with the matchday squad, going through the warmups etc.

But I do agree about being ahead of Origi and Ox.

Had him in my multi to score inside 20 minutes, unfortunately the other part of the multi was LFC to have most shots on target in both halves. Unbelievably according to whoscored.com, which is what the betting agencies use, said Norwich had more shots on target then us in the first half??

Love this player. To score a big bang moment like that for the Kop end is what every Liverpool player dreams of. He was so unlucky to join us on the eve of the pandemic and for a while it seemed like his only experience of playing for Liverpool would be at an empty Anfield.

So to score that all important equaliser right at the crunch point, sending the crowd wild, must have felt extra special.

Good points. Maybe now that the pandemic is winding down and he's in a more "normal" place we may see the best of him more often.
