Got to mention Naby as well tonight, it wasn't a stand out performance but I thought he did all the gritty, important stuff we rely on our midfield to do to allow TAA and Robbo the license to get forward. Think that's what's been missing from him so far so brilliant it's coming together for him now.

I thought the same, good to see his work rate, he tracked runners and made some good tackles, even win a few headers

I fancy Wolves tomorrow then he will be pushed over the edge

I don't to be honest but I think Wolves will be fu**ed after playing late tomorrow them having to play us Sunday.

So hard not to get carried away with this side and what they are achieving and about to achieve,  I seriously think that this is and will be Jurgens finest team and one which could prove impossible to surpass, we are only just starting to gather those trophies under Jürgen,  3 major European finals, A Champions League win, two premier league title challenges, en route to winning one, a European Super cup win, and a FIFA Club World Cup win,

It’s hard to imagine any club side in Europe who could handle us, and I include your RM’s, Barcelona, PSG, AM, B Munich, Man City, anyone !


Tonight, the way we played I saw signs that should frighten the actual sh*te out of every club in Europe, we’ve been saying since the start of this campaign we have yet to hit our peak, we looked tonight as though we went up a notch, and apart from our finishing probably our best  league performance  to date,

What would the score have been had we buried all those chances, 8,9 ?

And this without Fabinho, or Matip or Ox, and a sub par Salah,  trying not to get too excited but F**k me its f***in hard,

We are going to be Champions, We will be winning the league, and I believe we Will win Champions League again too,
This side is especially special, I think we are on the brink of a period of domination, a period that could even surpass what ‘Sir Bob achieved, multiple titles, a few more CL’s,  Everything  you can imagine, there is absolutely no limit to what we can achieve under Jürgen Klopp,

Bobby being slated by the pundits earlier  for his goal scoring this season now has 4 goals in 3 games. 

To be fair Bobby was off the boil for a wee while and not even just in goalscoring.

I know we have been getting a fair bit of praise from neutrals this season but I don't think they really understand how good this side actually is.

Absolutely incredible. I wasn't alive in 1988 but I bet those who were can draw comparisons with the 5-0 win over Notts Forest.

A Christmas cracker of a performance that.

Superb from every single player today in particular Bobby, Hendo and star man Trent.

Probably MOTY for me. What a dominating, statement win for Liverpool. First match back from the CWC in Quatar and the looked like they did matchday 1. What a win. Showed just how far and away better they are than any other club in the league.

Trent head and shoulders MOM, but the away support , as always, came a close second.

F***ing hell expected a tight affair, with the supposed tough period we got coming up, so we go out and do that to Leicester on their own turf...

It's unbelievable how a right back is able to run the game for us week in week out. Trent is as important to our attack as Messi is to Barcelona's or Ronaldo to Juve's. And he's a F***ing defender. Absolutely incredible

Yep it is what he does. Seen him do it year on year have a little fade away in the early middle season. Now he is back just when the other 2 have a few off games.

1 of those 3 will usually get you!

This was just a delight to watch. Even when we took a bit to score the 2nd goal, even as I half expected Leicester to catch us on the break and equalize, I never thought we were not going to come out on top because we were so classy on and off the ball. The work rate, the intelligence, the tactics, the individual technique and skill and ultimately, the ruthlessness of this team will have sent a message to the entire football world - English opponents, European opponents, you name it.

I also like that everyone I heard afterward (Millie, Robbo, Jürgen) continue to sound the right note about not quite halfway through the season yet and nothing's won yet. You'd have to be totally brain dead not to realize how much we are looking like champions, but we do have to follow through and continue doing the work on the training ground and winning the matches.

Still work to do but how can we not bask at least a little bit in such a special performance as tonight?
