When Virgil is making the types of mistakes he was, it’s clear we weren’t at our best today. Fair play to Wolves though, they forced us into a lot of our errors with the pressure they were putting on us.

Need the freshness and energy back for Sheffield too, they like to play too, and will be up for this.

Liverpool sign off for 2019 having scored 88 league goals. The only year they scored more in the top flight was 1982 (106).

Fair play to the Wolf's, that for me was our hardest match to date, yes we looked jaded, understandably , but we were treading water near the end,
Obviously not at our outstanding best but once again the Mentality Monsters got over the line,

Hard fought win that.   Get the f**k in.

Milner's 203rd match for us, equalling the most he's played for a club.

He put some Milly tackles in to they always make me fear for the opposition player

2.65 - Liverpool end 2019 having earned 98 points from 37 Premier League matches; their ratio of 2.65 points per game is the second highest ever achieved by a team in a single year in the competition, behind only Chelsea’s 2.66 in 2005. Zenith.

50 - Liverpool are now unbeaten in 50 home league games (W40 D10); this is only the third time any side has gone 50+ home matches without defeat in English top-flight history, after Chelsea (86 between 2004-2008) and Liverpool themselves (63 between 1978-1980). Innings.

Another great win against a decent Wolves side who are in form.

VVD, Gomez and Gini were superb as was Trent until he got tired the last 10 minutes. Alisson also excellent as usual bar one dodgy clearance.

A fairly standard 1-0 win that. Not spectacular but not terrible either. I don't think they created much that could be considered clear cut which is testament to our all round defensive game.

Delighted with their level and fitness given the context of this busy festive period. An excellent result!

Gini looked fu**ed when he was subbed and both our full backs looked shattered.
Hate to say it, but hope we rest a few versus Everton.

Very gritty performance in the 2nd half, as the theme of the season is we just do enough to get the points. I thought we played well in the 1st half but didn't take our chances which resulted in us to dig in hard the second half for the win.

Selection surprised me as Klopp is willing to keep on playing the regualrs but second half though Wolves were playing with more of the ball but we were getting leggy, especially at full back.

Thought Lallana had a good showing and Gomez looked very solid winning balls amd carry the attack out from the back.

All about keeping on winning and inching away to the title.

MotM by a million miles - Joe Gomez. What a f**king beast of a performance. A totally different game plan today compared to Thursday and he stood out like a Dinosaur!!

Has absolutely earned his spot alongside Virg even if Joel and Dejan are back!

Every one of these lads has given us everything and some of them are clearly needing a break and yet we are so far ahead of any other team this season and they all are entitled to have an off day .

Our B team have already turned them over once this season so I don’t see why not.

      13 points clear! ;D

Wolves are a good side, they'll probably finish in the top six, but we were stronger and took all three points - no league defeats in 2019.

You mean this season right? Cos we lost the very first game of 2019!

Salah’s form these last 4 games since his Watford brace has been poor. Can barely hit the target and his touch has been poor. Some of his shooing techniques have been bizarre too.

Massive let off, think Wolves would have scored if the game went on much longer but we held on and continued this magnificent run.

Expected Wolves to be tired but we were the ones that looked it.

To be fair to Mo, he received most of the balls with his back to the goal and was immediately surrounded by 2-3 Wolves players. Was definitely a sub par game for his standards but he did his bit by stretching their 3-man defence quite well.
