We're world champions, soon to be English champions and will be European champions until some other team wins it in a few months. It's a shame to be out of the CL as I believe we are the best football team in England, Europe and the world, but we'll not be arsed about this when we win the league.

      F**k that.

With the side we have we should be winning the league and the CL this season.

We got done by having a sh*t back up to our injured world class keeper.

A quality number 2 has to be top priority in the Summer now.

Why is Alisson not back for the derby?

      Christ now I'm worried.

Sadly apparently, he isn’t, the lads have to pick themselves up and even more importantly they have to pick Adrian up!

Proud of the lads I thought they were superb tonight. Lost our way once the goal went in but they couldn’t have given anymore really. Was a shame we drew Atletico because they were the only team out there I didn’t fancy because of their style of play but even still their keeper was comfortably the man of the match. It really was a tale of two keepers.

Disappointing.  When Firmino's goal went in thought we had it done.  Adrian's error though totally upset our rhythm and flattened the atmosphere.

Missed our keeper but that's the difference between a £70M keeper and a free one.  Not much else you can say.

      That's it really.

It's a bitter pill to swallow as it's the best we've played in ages but when a keeper is going to make mistakes like that a team like Atletico will punish you.

Think its time that we promote some youngster as a second choice keeper.

Clearly not a true reflection of the game costly error from keeper and tbh some poor finishing we have two wingers and a midfielder up front not just this match but we clearly need another forward who is a natural finisher
Yep deffo need another centre forward and a top class back up keeper.

We tried, no blame to us. Stuff like Adrian could have happened to Alisson as well. Last year we were unbelievably lucky vs. Barca, this year equalizes it. Fair trade. CL & PL in consecutive years is still  :-*. Plus, I think Jürgen and LFC will be even more motivated to improve this team to show the world what's a real competitor.

p.s. Don't bullsh*t Adrian. It was a mistake, but not a severe one, not Karius-like. It can happen. Don't be like all those other fans, show that our song means more than just words.

I was 4 when we last won the league. It sucks to be out of Europe, but the blow is softened by the thought that number 19 is just two wins away, less than that if City drop points.

Aagh! sh*t result for a really good performance. Should have gone through, but a back up goalie is more likely to F**k up than a 1st choice and that was the difference. Shame for Adrian, shame for us. At least we went down fighting and playing well.

No doubt Adrian changed the course of the result but come on from 2-0 up to losing 2-3 at home!!!

We should have at least the quality of that Sheffield keeper Henderson as a back up to Alisson.

Truly awful substitutions again. Ox and hendo off. Should have won in normal time. Time for klopp to go. Been found out and hasn't got a clue how to resolve it

A one legged Alisson would be less flat footed than Adrian.
