Also seen a few other forums and people on Twitter saying to start claim the Asterisk if we are awarded the title, kill the bantz pricks a bit like we did that time with the beachball!

Ignore them, they're desperate for us to react to their childishness. Even if we're given the title, it's not like City are a few points behind.

What clubs? The only clubs that will want the season voided will be the bottom six, the other fourteen will be taking a massive hit financially if they chose to void

The bottom six ... obviously they only need one more team to back them to get the 7 they need.

I thought cancelling needed a majority?

So if 7 vote to cancel & 13 vote to play the season will be cancelled?

Not sure but think you need 14 vote for a Quran ? Otherwise you have a stalemate then god knows what happens.

Had any of you more financial minded folks got any idea how much this has cost the club up to now?

The most accurate number I've seen touted is a "sh*t ton"

Thanks for the clarification, I'm no accountant but I reckon that's the entire transfer budget gone.

      😉

Yea I’d be surprised if we made any deals.

Germany so bloody good at everything.

Hence why our team is in safe hands. They know what they're doing.

      Quote from HUYTON RED
I'd rather watch it listening to players shouting or refs speaking to players and all the rest rather than the pathetic attempt at CGI crowd noise.

But Sky being Sky, I'm expecting some annoying sh*te!

That reminds me, of all the winning goals and decisive moments of the season, where the commentary is the loudest noise in the stadium.

No but the can veto the 'current plan's' with 7 votes. Obviously too many egos here and agendas unlike germany it seems. But in germany they are all using their own stadiums

Are Brighton serious? It's a shameless attempt to avoid relegation saying not playing at home is losing the integrity of the competition, well doesn't it work the other way where you don't have the disadvantage of being the away team? Are they thick? Or they think everyone else is.
We're being told if possible health depending the PL needs to be completed and if this is the safest way so be it.
We need two more wins but we won't have a full Anfield to roar us on to those 2 wins so is that fair.. Probably not but what's the alternative?
It's clear that a number of teams would see the PL scrapped completely just to make sure they're in the PL next year and they'd take the financial hit as they'd still make more money being back in it next year. If they announced no relegation you wouldn't hear from the Brighton CEO again. I don't usually worry who goes down and who doesn't as the table doesn't lie but I'd find it funny if it backfires on them

Ah yeah, I get you. Would still be quite surprised if there was another club on top of the 7 though. Doesn't make financial sense to not complete the season when there's no real risk of the financial hit from relegation
