One goal! And that comes in a 6-1 loss. Hahaha!
...which was...wait for it...a penalty.
When the penalty appeal was rejected in the reverse fixture, the Rice Krispies head said it wasn't a penalty. Now he says a questionable handball which none of his own players appealed for clearly was, and lashed
out at his rival managers for allegedly costing his team two points.
VAR provided the ref with all the evidence he needed to make his decision, which he did. The ref was brave enough to stick with his original call which he should be thanked for, rather than cave in and give them yet another penalty.
I would definitely be in favour of spray being deployed to keep players and coaching staff well away from refs while they are in the ref review area. The yellow card sanction clearly isn't enough on it's own.
