Came on and looked sharp, pity him and Sadio crashed into each other.

The more I see of Jota, the more I like him, thought he was great tonight and got stuck in all over the pitch, he'll be a tremendous asset as the season wears on.

Looks a player but needs games. How does het them games though if the boss just continues to pick the front 3 no matter what?

Hardly any player we've signed (outside Virg and Allison) come in and just become bang on starters. Most have had to work their way in. I suspect it will be the same with with Diogo. At this point, having a couple more options in him and Taki is a luxury we didn't have not too long ago. Now if one of the front three's form dips or they need a rest, it doesn't seem like so much of a drop off.

Because they are one of the top starting-3 in the entire world, but our crowded schedule alone will give Jota plenty of playing time. Injuries and dip in form would give Jota even more opportunity to get on the field.

I really liked the way he and Minamino looked yesterday feeding off each other. Looks like a fantastic partnership in the making and great option off the bench giving teams a different look.

How much more does Bobby's form have to dip??

His physical strength last night was impressive - hard to knock off the ball, very useful for winning free kicks in dangerous positions.

Impressed. I even expect more from him after he settles and with more game time. He'll get plenty of minutes because Jürgen will be more willing to rotate with him because unlike Shaq he'a able and willing to work his legs on the pitch. If Shaq had been more active on the pitch I'd prefer him over anybody, but somehow he didn't, no idea why, it must be also obvious to him.

He’s looking good. I’d be shocked if he didn’t turn out to be a good signing. He looks a bit unsure of himself at times, but I’m sure his confidence will increase the more he plays. He was one of our better players yesterday imo.

      Nothing more he can do.
Looks sharper than any of the other 3 right now.
      Great run and finish.
      Goal disallowed.
And also had a great run, just needed the one-two back to him in the box and might have got another.
      Well in Diogo

PL games. He's above only starting against the likes of Midgetland.

I expect Jürgen will start him Tuesday night though.

He's the first part of the new look front three that will be built over the coming years.

Didn't think he'd have this impact to be honest but once again our scouting department have done the business and found a perfect fit.

Add Sancho and Mbappe over the next three seasons we'll complete our next gen front line 8)
