In one of the early Klopp interviews he said that Kabak is a big talent but he also can already deliver.
That is exactly what Kabak has showcased.
I assume Kabak will be at Liverpool for at least another 2 seasons.
Konate, Fofana etc, don't have more experience than Kabak.
Kabak is still young and needs to be trained, he'll make a huge step forward in his development once world-class people surround him during training (VVD). What can he learn from Phillips, Davies and Williams ? Defending against Salah, Mane will already teach him a lot, now he needs a pre-season and fully fit world-class Defenders besides him where he can look to learn a thing or two in the art of defending.
He just turned 21, he has at least 12 years in his legs of professional football.
He'll improve visibly every 6 months going forward. Upamecano didn't pass the eye-test in Champions League against Liverpool although media wrote about him as next Beckenbauer, Konate didn't even play in both legs returning from injury. This guy is injured as many times as his name is mentioned in the media, once Kabak reaches Konate's age he'll aready be much more experienced than Konate at his current age.
Kabak also played Bundesliga, Champions League and already played 10 seniopr national team selection games, which Konate lacks.
Leicester payed ÂŁ32 million for Fofana, Kabak just costs ÂŁ18 Million.
