Not a bad player, attacking, pacy full-back. But the big question, would he make the Utd/Arsenal/Chelsea teams?

I was trying to be ironic... Some of our best players over the last couple of years came from the mentioned clubs, that are more or less at the same level as Derby. As i wrote about K. Jones (sunderland), I dont know much about Tyrone Mears, but I just think its stupid to be insulted because we are rumoured to be after a player from a smaller team. Your post sort of indicated that you were insulted that we were after a Derby player... just because he is a Derby player

But no. In this instance its not because of his club, i doubt his ability to handle playing for a team like Liverpool.

In general though i do believe we can find better than that of Mears, Jones and Barnes as i think players of their calabre are squad players at best.
