Good few Utd fans have been pissed off with the Glazers for a long time, the ESL gives them a good excuse to go off on one. Interesting they picked this game though, rather than the earlier Euro match which I guess they were a lot more concerned about going ahead and winning. Maybe on that basis you could argue they should forfeit the game.
No harm to have a protest though, what the owners did [of the ESL clubs] was a unacceptable, money grabbing shites. Whether it makes any difference, who knows.

However justified the United supporters are in protesting, the Glazers, the message is weakened by vandalizing the stadium, getting up to the players' coach at the hotel (and in the hotel) and throwing missiles at the police. In that regard the comparison to the Trump rioters in DC is apt.

I honestly cannot see the point of this demo today. The owners listened to the fans and pulled out of the Super league. Today's actions hurting the players more, who just want to get the remaining games out of the way !
