didnt we have to field an U23 team against Villa when we went to the WCC?. Same should apply to all teams if you have 14 registered players in the ifrst team squad the game goes on

Did we not have 14 for the postponed 1st leg?

City don’t even have to win anymore - they can cruise to the title. It’s on us now to keep the pressure on those cu*ts

There was a lot of guff talked about Chelsea at the start of the season on the back of a fortunate CL Final victory in May (fortunate in the sense that it was lucky Guardiola lost his tactical marbles). Not half as great as pundits were making them out to be

Yeah, but they made huge improvements and they are a difficult tactical challenge for us. The only PL teams capable of beating us on our best day are Chelsea and City, well maybe not our best level, but in a very high level game they can do that. There was a lot of hype about them before the season started, but I was always very confident the top two would be City and us - just got the order wrong.

Simple. Lazy half arsed performance. One of the worst in recent times.

Mo wasn't on his game, missed a pen and you could see the body language in our team that screamed of 'mo isn't on it ... who is going to score' .

Leicester arnt great. It was a bad day at the office and in terms of a title challenge we've had too many of those already.

Still plenty to play for. Hopefully tonight is the start of the run to silverware this season.

Does Rodgers have a problem with his players after a few seasons. Something seems to go off after 2-3 years or so.

Really, people need to start realising teams switch on for us more than any other opponent, and not just our rivals

Coutinho starting for Villa, while Ferguson drops Allan from the blueshites midfield.

      3 points for Villa.

Ferguson with his 80's football will struggle but the team will be on fire for the first 30 mins after that it will be same old sh*te. Lets see how good a football team Villa and how many Everton players are on the pitch. Norwich not far behind them.

Hahahaha Villa 1-0 up. Couple of Lucozade bottles and water bottles lobbed at Villa players. One hits Digne and he stays on the deck for a while selling it like a pro.
