They are shambles. It’s been years and they still show no clear direction of what they’re building towards.

I've noticed loads of empty seats at stadiums all around the country. Only 52 thousand at Anfield. The only reason I can come up with is people are afraid of covid, or they've tested positive, but why not give the ticket to a mate?

Understandable really. I won't be going to any matches this year even though it's outside, just don't feel comfortable with it at moment.

Lots of people don’t feel comfortable going to watch the Mancs so you’re not alone there ;)

Arsenal are in trouble this season.

Chavs on the other hand, they are going to be incredibly difficult to beat.

Brother, I think both Manc Clubs and the Chavs will be saying the exact same thing about us.

Gonna be an incredible Season, just have to beat all 3 of them twice and every other Club twice.  ;D

Only 52,000 is a lot more than how many could attend games in the past 18 months. We don't know the reasons why. But it's wrong to accuse no shows of having the virus. I would never accuse anyone of having it without definitive proof.

What sort of quality of life is that?

Sometime we have to learn to live with the virus and get back to normality. Several hundred thousand people with a wide range of ages and health conditions but don't have the virus, attended EPL games at the weekend, several hundred thousand more attended lower division games. They all knew the risks involved, but still refused to let the risks run their lives for them. It's wrong to assume in advance that they're all just there to pass the virus on to someone else.

In the US there have been something like 8,000-ish reported breakthrough cases across 166M vaccinated people. That’s 0.005% but people like Keith still aren’t ready to live their lives. He is vaxed, masked and carries a 6ft stick to make sure people keep their distance but it’s his personal choice so if it suits him good for him.

Apart from the stick  ;D yeah it's pretty much my choice. They may of taken our freedom of speech away in this country with all the w@nk  fest snowflakes about but my choice most certainly remains in place..

I very rarely have a proper  rant with members on here as I get on well with well over 90% despite my rank.   ;D However, with LFCATW I can safely say he's a PR!ck of the highes order. His comments are one that I now come to expect from such a tw@t.

This just doesn't go for me but many millions across the world who still take the same precautions due to their ongoing health issues. LFCATW is just a selfish Cnut and deserves a bad dose of covid.

Shocking thing to say about anyone, especially someone you've never met. FFS.

I thought like wise, he's never meet me or the millions who are more vulnerable. He's out of order for what he said. I just returned the compliment which won't be retracted.

Wishing someone to get deathly sick is bang out of order, and a whole hell of a lot worse than what he said. Good grief are you even serious comparing the two? Get a grip.

When a manc comes onto Liverpool forums to wind us up and state that we "deserve a bad dose of covid", that would usually be a banning offence. The mad mancs who realised that, didn't last long.

If the authorities listened to those who still want life to be as restricted as it has been, the season would have been declared null and void, the Euros would have been cancelled, the current season would still be played in training ground atmospheres, because there are too many of them "not comfortable" with going to stadiums yet. They are the same people who confidently forecast 100k UK cases daily by now because after 15 months of misery, it was "too early" to open up, and others were too "selfish" for them.

Most of us have health issues at some point. Indeed some fans at games have ongoing health issues and/or lost loved ones to the power of the virus, but they're still prepared to go to their games and move on with their lives. If not now, then when?
