To be fair there's  quite a few that haven't caught up with the modern game and Rafa appears to now be in that bracket. We've all heard the saying! " you can't teach an old man new tricks"

Harsh. Everton have less than a handful of good players. You can't polish a turd.

I don't think it is really JD. I agree with KK he just doesn't seem to play the modern way at the moment. Most of us say the same thing about Mourhino, doesn't mean I'm right of course, just a opinion.

Everton were playing like a top six side for a couple of months but that seems to all but disappeared.

there was every reason for Rafa taking this job not least having travelled for the last 10 or more years he can now live in his own home.
He hasnt had any money to spend and a turd of a squad is just the same now matter how well it is polished.  They are at best a mid table team/squad despite the huge amount they have spent on the dross they put out. Long may it continue

To think that many Liverpool fans thought he was going to make the Ev important again! So many fans of the reds massively over rate him. Listen to Gerrard and Carragher FFS.

They F***ing love him these days. Finally realised he did more for their careers than any manager they played under.

      Quote from David Wright
Gosh Nuno did not last long at Spurs. Seemingly out of his depth, should have stuck at Wolves.

No league title in 50 years. No trophy of any description in almost 15 years. What is the depth of Spurs?

We laugh at Watford, but that lot are almost as bad. When we beat them 5-0 in 2013, they sacked their manager and replaced him with Tim Sherwood. They're now on their fourth new manager since we beat them in Madrid.

Anyone who wants Conte in charge clearly doesn't want free flowing, heavy metal football, or peace and harmony in the boardroom. Italians are not known for wanting to win games 3 and 4-0 every week. Conte's football is so boring that he couldn't even finish third in his European Cup group last year. We beat him to fourth spot in 2018.

When he did win a few trophies, he had great squads full of world class players. Spurs don't have that, and once Kane leaves the rest will follow. Then Conte will be sacked when he kicks up a fuss over it, as he has done everywhere else.

Utd fans must hate their two most hated rivals basically playing like training sessions during their biggest home games!

West London scumbags drop points to Burnley. Chelsea have been a bit fortunate this season. If we were ever to use xG as an insight, their figures this year have shown that they've been lucky not to concede more and have been scoring above what the xG number has shown.

Such respect for Vieira - great to see him getting traction at Palace. Thought they'd really struggle but they've been really impressive this season, playing style and everything.

They really cleaned up their squad and made some clever signings. Gallagher, for example, has been brilliant for them.
It's all the more surprising considering Vieira really failed at Nice, his previous club.

I think what xG numbers like that show is the form they have isn't really sustainable.

Hope this is the start of that.

What's this carry on about Man City having a more impressive victory against Utd than Liverpool?

The media fawning over it. If Man City were that incredible, why only 2 goals? I saw pundits make the point that we didn't score after Man Utd were down to 10 men (wanted more goals myself) but City failed to score in the 2nd half..

It's not enough just to win. Others will still find fault with the manner of your victory.

To be fair Dan  you lot! did take foot off the pedal, it's the way they did it, not even break sweat and their passing and pressing best in the league for me at this stage of the season. Obviously these days you can say it's only United such the drop in form. I still maintain whoever finishes above City win the league.
