Half time analysis:
Our lack of a proper DM is really telling, as Norwich are finding it pretty easy to carve us open through the middle, especially Gilmour. It also hinders us from being able to pin them back.
Ox has had a stinker. Literally every time he got the ball he gave it away, either by tackle or by missing a pass. I think he's now well done the pecking order in midfield, even behind Jones and Elliott, and if this might be his last season at Liverpool given that he only has 12 months left on his contract next summer.
Lot's of positives to take from that first half too though!
Konate has been imperious, Van Dijk lite.
Gomez looks good. Nice reading of the play, and great block on the penalty rebound.
Bradley looks alright in play for the most part, but that peno was obviously rash. He'll learn from that.
Kelleher has been impressive, more so for his passing and sweeping than the penalty save, though that was great too obviously.
Gordon gives me the same vibe Elliott did two years ago. He can make plays happen that are imaginative and completely unpredictable. We should be aiming to get him into 1v1 situations as much as possible second half.
Origi assist to Minamino was exactly the start those two needed. Getting a goal when there's pressure on them to do so is big for them.
