We have debated the Gini issue at considerable length before and since he left. Gini had his good games, but away from home he tended to go missing frequently, and I can't remember the amount of times people wanted him subbed and dropped when he was here, but it was often. If Jürgen really wanted him to stay, I'm sure he would have stayed. A player working with a different coach after him is a step down.
We also know that unfortunately the missiles start flying around here, on the rare occasion we drop points. It's easier to accept though when it comes from the regulars who comment on the rough and the smooth, rather than those who wait until there's "talking points" aka points dropped, to remind us all what we already know.
When the team is 25 games unbeaten, going for the title, breezing through the Group Of Death, piling up almost 50 goals already, winning away games 5-0, whacking the mancs in their backyard, Salah breaking new records every week and running his own Goal of the Month competition, it's just wrong to come here and whinge that there's nothing to talk about.
There were 7 away wins in the league last weekend, our game was the only draw. No it's not perfect, but of the 91 other teams in the country, almost all of them would swap the places and the possibilities and the opportunities with us, if they could.
