RIP Ray wand of a left foot and remember an interview with Paisley saying he had more clubs wanting to sign him than any other player . Horrible disease

Very sad to hear Ray has passed. Condolences to his family and friends. Had been a tough few years by all accounts.
For me a world class player not praised enough for his football ability. A mainstay of our great team of the 70s under Sir Bob
Rest in peace Ray

Very sad news today about Ray, was a wonderful player and a great servant to this club. To suffer this horrible disease for 35 years is just so sad, 70 is no age these days. Condolences to his family and friends. At peace now,
no more pain. RIP. YNWA.

Great player, a brilliant signing, switching him from a striker to a midfielder is one of the best tactical masterstrokes ever

Stalwart of 'my side', such a reliable and supremely gifted player. Always knew he'd put in a shift, possessed immaculate positioning, never shirked a tackle. Truly a legend.
RIP Ray, free at last.

R.I.P Ray you were one hell of a player.
I’m so glad I was born in the 60’s & had the pleasure & honour of watching so many legends play & you are right up there with the very best.

On his day - absolutely unplayable, he could do it all.
Rest easy Ray Kennedy.....you looked like a giant playing against schoolkids some days.....they couldn't stop you.
Definitely one of the players that made me fall in love with the beautiful game.
RIP legend.
